So neo-liberalism is really not much different than ne-conservatism then. One in the same? [en.wikipedia.org]

Neo liberals are liberals in the same way that The National Socialist party were socialists. That is to say, not at all.

@Noor92 I once got in to a debate with a member here...he kept on using that term "Neo-liberalism"...I told him...it doesn't work these days....there's no comparison - except "Neo-Liberals" are more like today's Conservative Republicans.

if you google "neo-Liberalism" you see there's nothing "neo" about it....it was "originated" over a century ago...and has tenets in it that make no sense for today. I won't be your "go-fer"....you'll have to google it yourself...

I have googled as your guidance, and it says that neo liberalism is the radical version of liberalism, neo liberalism means only and only liberalism and free market, and as I know conservatives are against liberalism, progressivism and socialism.

@Noor92

You forced me to look it up...to point out how similar they are to today's Conservative Republicans;

"Neoliberalism or neo-liberalism is the 20th-century resurgence of 19th-century ideas associated with laissez-faire economic liberalism and free market capitalism. While it is most often associated with such ideas, the defining features of neoliberalism in both thought and practice has been the subject of substantial scholarly discourse. These ideas include economic liberalization policies such as privatization, austerity, deregulation, free trade and reductions in government spending in order to increase the role of the private sector in the economy and society" - all the modern Republican/conservative views.
