Something to keep in mind—Big Tech and the trumpist faction of the ruling class are two different things, although each has a vital interest in keeping people stupid. A question, perhaps the question of the age: In the long run, which faction is likely to do a better job of that? Or might each just keep on doing its own thing, so to speak? Perhaps the difference between them is not a contradiction, or not fundamentally antagonistic? Just putting it out there; I don't know the answers. Personally I'd like to see them destroy each other while the rest of us sit back and enjoy the show, but I don't have high hopes for that.

Big tech is what consumer electronics becomes under monopoly, not the "evil" of science.
Big Tech is destructive.
Technology and Science are our only hope of survival as a species.
Big Tech is the tool of Fascist to control the population.
I see this confusion from Conservatives like the Maga movement, and from Liberals like the back to nature, vegan, anti vaccination crowd.
There's not enough "nature" for humans to "return" to, just as there's not enough "nature" left to exploit.
Time to think out of the box.
Our problems require us to "Science" the shit out of this.
