Back to the project that started last year. This planter will have the grandchildrens pumpkin patch.
The comfry is busy with the bees.
Thyme drying in the sun.
Hopefully by summers end have the bavk here mulched.
Lovely place you have!
Thank you, it keeps me out of my own head. Excellent choice for some of us, for me it is a relief from ptsd and exercise. My daughter doesn't have the upper body strength for hoeing and she wondered how i did it...lol after helping me one day.
Things look dry there....Oregon's coast is famous for being wet...where are you - I'm guessing inland?
I am on the east slope of the coast range 30 miles from the coastline. We are entering our dry period. It rained from october to february. Never had a decent chance to oil the fruit trees. The pear set is aweful bad. Cherries looking ok.
@HerbertNewsam Wow...I haven't seen cherries on trees since I was a kid. There's something I'd like to follow. Do you have a commercial contract to spray/treat/harvest them?
@Robecology I am just a home grower, so if i spray it is only using Organicide sesame oil. It works ok if the application timing is correct
Nice Garden! Lots of room for lots of possibilities.
thank you, ugh just came in from the compost pile, pant pant...it is bigger this year.
@HerbertNewsam just taking a breather from building the greenhouse, I hear ya.
@Surfpirate Awesome, would love some ideas, green house is on my list this next coming year...

Posted by KateOahuThis morning I went to a class for making a terrarium with native plants at the Waikiki Community Center, which is about three blocks from where I live.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
