A Yard Long Red Noodle Bean has finally popped, and I believe a few more are almost ready to bloom! Next year I will get seed to start many more (2 of 3 seedlings remain from my impulse purchase). The lavender blossom was so sweet!

No, just a unique edible bean. Unlike purple beans, they retain most of the red color when lightly cooked.
