Jeebus!! I admire you fortitude in getting so close to it. I like bugs at arm's distance, or even football field distance.

A big ol' beetle. Lol Only joking. It does look like a female stag beetle. My kids find them at Orchardly Park in Oakwood often.

@mantid30 My boy wants to be a "zoologist or wildlife biologist or Coyote Peterson" when he grows up. We deal with a lot of bugs. And I live quite near to the OP.
