First "Kong" sunflower harvested. We didn't get many this year. I think the seed packet was marked 2012.

@bigpawbullets I don't know that one, thanks for the info.
@kenriley The sunflowers that grew the best for me this year were the dollar store sunflower seeds that I bought for the birds and thought what the heck, throw a couple of handfuls in the ground and see if I can make some more.
What is that in the background . Looks like roots of some kind .

Large bottle gourds...cured over the winter. I used a bunch to make bird houses. Those are what's left.
