Out gathering seeds this morning before the cold front/rain squalls move in. Our tomatoes and pepper plants are still producing.

I spent the last few days up at our cottage and came back to find that most of the tomatoes that survived the first wave of deer foraging had succumbed to the following waves but I did manage to find a few stragglers hiding down low, they didn't even make it back to the house.

It has finally gotten cool enough for the tomatoes to start setting again. Probably 2-3 months before the first frost.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
