Here in Florida, they can be gorgeous when maintained but if not become bug magnets. (Maintained = sprayed regularly)

Hibiscus is one of my favourites but it struggles as a perennial in our garden. Our newest edition was this Blue Chiffon.

I have one that must be two grafted together since it has two different colour flowers on the same plant but it's the wrong season for flowers at the moment.
