The "cascade" effect is not only beautiful, it's useful....that rock wall looks like it could be easly eroded with a hard, prolonged rain.
The vegetation slows the runoff....but I also concur with the need for a trim. You could also replant the ones in the left foreground higher on the wall. Perhaps take the excessive lower growth (center of image) and re-plant them in the upper part of the wall, lower left in the image?
