I love wildflowers, and this specific one is an alltime favorite ... Phacelia campanulata aka California Bluebell. Pretty, reddish, slightly woolly, veined leaves and grows about 15-18 inches tall in full sun. I ordered the seeds specially, this past Spring and have been enjoying their intense blue color. Some shots are from several days ago, and some taken this morning (there's dew on them) ... and a bug! Didn't look like a real bee to me, but our bug specialists will hopefully chime in!
Fantastic blue - bug looks like a friend, Polly Nator, big family the Nators
Wow, great photos, and such sweet leaf and blossom!

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
