too large for a honey bee, most likely a bumble bee

I thought maybe it was a bumblebee, but I don’t see the typical fuzziness or markings.
@Insectra Thanks for checking out my insects! I don’t have a better shot of the grasshopper, but it is typical of the species here in Eastern Kansas. I’ll tag you if I get a better photo. Meanwhile, here’s another look at that bee—just cuz
