Most anyone can grow tomatoes in a bucket if they have sun coming in a window

Mine are the ones on bottom right.
Yep! Invisible since I can't seem to successfully grow them 😂😂😂

I don't know truck from backyard, but the best tastiest tomatoes I've ever eaten were from a roadside stand, Leamington Ontario...left-overs from production for nearby Hunt's catsup factory...

They are different varieties. Whoever picked the top two were never taught to remove the stems. Stems punch holes in surrounding tomatoes.
the bottom ones look like better boy variety. A much better tomato imo.

Yours have better shape. They just look like they need a few more days of sun to ripen.

Experienced farmers know the tricks. It's a balance of fertilizers and pesticides - some not available unless you're a "truck farmer" or certified in it for profit. I know folk who shun the "perfect" tomatoes...too many chemicals to make that fat juicy thing.

Yours: regulart watering, not much fertilizer
His: Regular fertilizer ( maybe too much) and not enough watering.
Just my humble opinion.

Gardening is one all time, my best activity! the trick is to be able to control the bad weeds,, never let those get a foothold on your garden. the activity required keep me strong and young,, I'm 76

He's been doing it for 50 years. I've been playing at it for ten. 😆

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
