I just joined the group. I do not garden but I have a question I would like to ask. If society advanced enough and there was the opportunity to live in large trees (like avatar, but in rooms not hammocks) would you like to do this? Would you find this better than living in a house or apartment? I may have to think about this more. The picture above gave me the thought of being able to live in this situation.

Assuming this was sustainable and did not harm the tree of the forest.

Must have taken a life time to cultivate the tree alone .

Looks like a painting. But very clever. Amazing. The tree is not allowed to grow at all now.

Wow, that's crazy-fine detailing! I am not keenly familiar with the art of bonsai, but I wonder how much of the house, the steps, were created to guide the growth of the tree, or added to existing growth?

Looks like a lot of work to maintain. Still, very impressive.

If that's a live tree; then that is a work of serious art.

I'm privileged to volunteer for the James Smith Bonsai collection at Heathcote Gardens in Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Come Visit us; and come when the tree artists are there pruning to see what a challenge this is.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
