Early Spring in Canada means Pussy Willows. My wife and I were out on a walk and came across a huge grouping of pussy willows, at least a dozen large specimens, so we took a few cuttings and brought them home for an arrangement. These will send out roots and sprout leaves, after that we will transplant them on the edge of our pond in our backyard.

Nice; and thank you for propagating more of them. Too many take them from the wild, have them in vases for a few days...then discard them. Kudos for doing some propagation and re-planting.

Nostalgisna! My earliest childhood home, back in Olympia, WA, had a few big pussywillows growing just across the road. I was fascinated by those as a small child. Rabbit's feet were for some reason a popular charm for people to buy back then, and I used to think of those pussywillows as bunny toes. 🤪
Cool that you'll be starting new trees just that easily!

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
