You know, no work, stuck at home, fruit trees booming....
I have started trying different recipes, some are approved and others hummm not so much.
I had a little mulberry left and tons of loquats. I made a cobbler- half mulberry and half loquat.
I could eat a lot more, but i would suffer later.
Definitely a keeper.

LOVE cobblers, and trying different fruit mixes. Yours looks yummy!

The first one I made, with mulberry and sourdough biscuit for topping, turned out dry and not very tasty.
This one I went on my traditional dough just to make sure it would not turn out blah.
I would reduce the amount of sugar next time, but I sure can eat the whole thing by myself in a couple days.

I do miss locquat jam, used to get it every year when I lived in Bermuda, just pick the fruit off the trees that overhang the road.

Totally changing subject, Have you worked with Ecoplan or EDSA?

@Zoohome I haven't worked with Ecoplan but it could be interesting. At the moment I am finishing the interior of my passive solar home on Howe Island and working on my gardens as well as getting around to building my new aquaponics system.

@Surfpirate pretty cool projects.
I worked with Ecoplan for years. Then 2008 crisis and I had to go as they needed to reduce staff. Fabulous projects and great owners, if you ever work together, you will enjoy it.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
