Does this Group cover mainly temperate zones? I am in another gardening group which covers hot country gardening, since I live part of the year in Spain. I am not very familiar with the different climatic zones in the USA so I don't know what is closest to my home climate in south-west UK. That is a possible problem for an organisation like this one that is open to the whole world!

No we welcome everyone in this group. I live in Florida which is subtropical we have people that live in Desert climate tropical and northern climates. We would love to see what you are growing.

I live in the high desert of New Mexico. 7000 feet 14 inches of rainfall in good years lot of wind US zone 7

@AstralSmoke that is in a good year. NOrthern NM is much different from the south which is more clearly desert

If you are in Wales then you would be in a zone that is similar to Zones 7 or 8 in North America because of the warming effects you get from the Gulf Steam.
