Don't all rush at once
Hmmmm, not so sure that's a good idea. There's a lot of anti English sentiment there. My uncle was called a SEB (Stupid English B@$+ard) to his face all the time by his juniors when he was a manager there.
My aunt went for a job interview and was mockingly asked if she was English. Her response? I'm Canadian.
Plus the Scottish government would have to endure years of austerity to balance the books if the cash from the South dried up. There was a report about this but it was ignored as a bit of an inconvenient truth.
Sense of humour failure then ?
@Zealandia I wouldn't take it personally. I think the main target is the Westminster circus and in particular head clown Boris Johnson.
Actually a lot of English people have migrated up here to the highlands because it is a great place to live, and they are very welcome. You are as likely to hear an English accent as a local one.
Over a third of the houses in my village are holiday homes and holiday lets and when the restriction on use is lifted on July3d there will no doubt be an influx from the south. The incidence of covid19 has been very low in the region so I hope it stays that way
Funny! Nicola certainly seems to have a better handle on things than blustering Boris and his crew!
Certainly todays statistics on the virus are encouraging

Posted by MattHardyA Boris promise is just a lie that hasn't happened yet. Whatever Sue Grey says, no way is Boris going to admit he lied and resign.

Posted by webspider555I’m beginning to wonder whether our government is just incompetent or are all these things happening just to get us in a rage arguing amongst ourselves.
