A Memorial Day Reflection: How Long Will Injustice Flourish?
(I’m not advocating some radical course of action like unplugging from society to lead lives “off the grid”.)
That's becoming an illegal act in many areas around the country. As is collecting rain water and putting up personal wind mills and solar panels.
(Both maintain power by eradicating competition and both enrich themselves by impoverishing the citizenry.)
And yet, especially republican supporters, will argue that capitalism and the free market provide fair competition and expand wealth. Even after nearly 5 decades of monopolizing the country has taken hold, social programs, that many of them use or use to, those still surviving, have been turned to their local governments to drain and deteriorate, still blissfully support the obvious downfall of a system, which actually, isn't there.
