It took just one reason to make me vegan but I stay vegan for all the reasons. I feel better in my own health but more important than that I try my best not to be part of the problem, not easy in a world fueled by its problems, we must change or die off.

Talk about anthropocentrism and depression. Unfortunately, it is also true. The truth not only sets one free it can also make one feel crazy and guilty. A recent Atlantic monthly book report: [theatlantic.com] highlights this and our eventual plight because of it. Yes, we are an extremely flawed species and will not make it given our natural proclivities.
I have been vegetarian bordering on vegan for decades but the fact of our impact on the environment has committed me and it should all others who 'say' they care!!

I am near vegan. There is no reason not to be. Even if one is not a strict vegan because we are fallible, it helps the future of the planet, animal welfare, health concerns. We do the best we can. IMO there a many reasons to pursue this lifechoice. I was told vegan is defined by animal welfare & that alone. Absolutist much? The residuals are reason enough.
