I have no facts to support this, but my guess there's a certain amount of commitment phobia lurking behind internet romances. We all feel the need to be connected and loved. There are a plethora of reasons why someone would not be willing or able to connect in real life. I am a u.u, and I find being a part of the fellowship does satisfy my need to feel connected. There are many free thinkers, atheists ,pagans, Buddhists and a few Christians that attend. the u.u's are very active with social causes ,environmental causes and are a support system for one another. No two Unitarian universalists are identical in their beliefs, so a certain amount of Tolerance is going to be required for you to feel comfortable.

This is exactly what happened to me. My husband got cancer and made the decision to die At home after all treatments failed.. I was his primary caregiver ,but hospice was also a big help. I can't imagine putting him in a home . Hospice will step in if the person has a very short projected life. The Family Leave Act will give someone three months to care for a family member that's dying. It's been five years since my husband has passed. It may sound strange, but after two decades of living with him,I felt as if it was an honor to Usher him into the unknown.

relationships are different . if it was a relationship where you've had children together , you're going to need to part and still remain civil to one another. If it was a relationship that just involve two people, I would recommend the no contact rule. Give yourself time to grieve, but then just let go. No talking ,no texting, no stalking on social media. Been there! Many times! It's very similar to any other form of loss. For me, the biggest thing that helped me is a no contact of any kind rule. No calling , texting and no social social media stalking. You can't go around grief , but you have to go through it . It does take time. If, and only if ,you have a no contact rule you'll notice that the more time goes by the less you think of this person.

Woodstock 94 . Never could have been as good as the original Woodstock ,but a three day non stop party was pretty awesome! Lots of great bands on two stages. When the bands stopped playing late at night ,the music over the loudspeakers would be turned to full volume. It rained like a horse pissing on a Flat Rock. We were all hungry, tired and covered in mud. It was fun!
