What do you all think about Robert De Niro saying " Fuck Trump" on live television?
Meanwhile our PRESIDENT is speaking to North Korea trying to bring compromise and peace...we never had talks with North Korea...before...

Trump doesn't talk, he rambles while laying down the law.

10

I think I love deNiro even more than before. Trump has been played like a fiddle by Kim.

9

My only question re the "summit": Did trump spit or swallow?

Post of the day award!

  1. Deniro is free to say what he wants.
  2. I wouldn't go too altruistic in describing trump's motives regarding foreign policy. so far all we have seen are personal financial motives.
  3. you should expect stern opposition in any venue containing intelligent persons such as agnostics or atheists because it appears you stand in support of that fricking idiot.
9

I am sure Robert DeNiro spoke for millions upon millions of us, and I do wish that more people in those type positions would speak out much more often, for it needs to be said day after day by more and more and perhaps something at THAT level would get the attention of his crowd in Congress that pretends to not know what is going on. As for North Korea, trump only went for the glamour of being in headlines, he does not know or care about the matter that he is supposedly addressing, and what just happpened in Canada is MUCH more important on the world stage !

Seriously? Curious if a celebrity said " FUCK OBAMA" on live television do you think there would be protests and race riots..and people losing their minds over it? I think it's absolutely disgusting how Hollywood and the Media are treating Trump...I don't agree with all he stands for but I do support him because HE IS OUR PRESIDENT...just like I supported OBAMA for 8 fucking years of broken promises and the MONSANTO DARK ACT...OBAMA went on more vacations than any other PRESIDENT....TRUMP is at least coming through with what got him elected...

@Ravenwolfcasey So much blind hate by liberals, they're pathetic

@jorj exactly and to note Obama was labeled a black man when in reality he was biracial and part white or Caucasian...he was raised by his white mother and white grandmother...to call him a black man just because of skin color is the definition of RACISM...

@gater it's not blind hate. We can't stand this administration because we clearly see the lasting and devestating damage being done to our country by it. Stop watching Faux News, look around you and speak with your neighbors. Ask THEM how they're doing. Odds are they're pretty fucked rn.

He still deserves a FU. This is a desperate attempt to avoid impeachment which will be coming when Mueller reveals his money laundering, obstruction of justice and collaboration with the Russians. Meanwhie his agreement has no verifications, requires action on the part of North Korea and does not include addressing human rights violations.

8

I think it's horribly disrespectful of the office and should be beneath everyone but, he insulted the person in office, not the position. I say fuck trump. As for Korea, he's doing it for his own gloating and self aggrandizement. He could give a shit less about the Korea's. He's dreaming of a Nobel at any cost. He's a liar and a cheat so we'll never know the truth behind his private meetings. But his wait, the unverifiable bullshit will be ample. Every failure will be Kim's. Any success will likely be a lie. The man is incapable of telling the truth. I don't know why but he lies about the smallest, insignificant things when there is absolutely no reason to lie. The he tells big lies over and over just like he was following the play book that Goebells provided for Hitler. He's not going to bring up the horrid human rights violations Kim is guilty of. Crimes that most criminals would be locked up for if they set foot out of their homeland. He's going to kiss add because he lives to have his ads kissed. He thinks everyone is as simple minded as himself. So yeah, he's doing nothing for Korea because cares. He's doing it for himself. Fuck trump.

He’s a classic malignant narcopath; they lie when it’s easier to tell the truth. With all the fact-checking, it’s unreal that his base won’t see the lies.

7

I have no issue with it.

Trump has no chance. He couldn't negotiate his way out of a paper bag, let alone with one of the worst dictators alive today. Kim is only meeting with Trump to try to manipulate him into giving North Korea concessions, while giving nothing in return. Unfortunately Trump is dumb enough, that he will probably fall for it.

Katrik Level 7 June 12, 2018

@jorj Now I stand vindicated. Trump gave him concessions and got nothing but an empty promise in return.

@jorj clearly you didn’t read my post if that’s what you think my position is. Trump gave into every demand NK made, and got nothing in return. He couldn’t have done a worse job if he tried. There is simply no way to put a positive spin on the debacle that occured.

@jorj I know many of you Trump supporters have a touchy relationship with reality, but the truth is there is NOTHING in that agreement that prevents NK from getting nukes. No inspections, no enforcement, no regulations, only Kim's promise that he won't. It is an empty promise. He has lied in negotiation before, and this will be no different. Kim will continue to develop nuclear weapons. Trump did nothing to stop or even slow it down.

@jorj Ok, this is going no where. Good day sir, have fun watching Fox.

7

Fuck Trump!!!

Dude, please don't capitalize his name.

Deep thinker

@gater I just play to my audience, and Trumpkins are notoriously dim-witted and slow.

@gater, @jorj if he DOESN'T capitalize, not don't capitalize. Learn the language.

6

The treasonous groper is trying to improve his image, have a photo-op and then demand a Nobel Peace Prize. That's it.

6

Fucking awesome, Robert is a top man

5

In addition to being drawn in by a con man posing as president, you categorically lie in this question. To be expected from you, of course. Your ignorance is truly amazing.

Chronology of U.S.-North Korean Nuclear and Missile Diplomacy:

[armscontrol.org]

We've been talking to North Korea about nuclear weapons since at least 1994.
Read first, then post.

In any civilized society someone who behaves like Robert De Niro would be ostracized. The fact that an audience applauds him and posters here approve of his behavior is an ominous sign. I'm not sure that public behavior was this extreme even in the late 1850s before the civil war started. "Whom the gods would destroy they first make mad".

5

I thought Robert DeNiro set a very poor example using such vulgar and limited language. Made me think less of him.

5

What do I think.

There is a whole lot of emotion tied up in Trump politics. There are those who are incensed with Trump's antics and rhetoric. Others love the guy's tenacity and down to earth openness.

As far as De Niro is concerned, I think he crossed the line and let his emotions get the best of him. I get it, but he demonstrated a lack of emotional intelligence.

Exactly. Poor taste!

5

Two lying dictators understand bullying tactics.

You're a stupidhead. NO YOU'RE A STUPIDHEAD! Playground version of them, but with nukes. If that doesn't scare the hell out of you... it should.

@TheGreatShadow you all need to stop watching fake news

@Ravenwolfcasey I'll never give up watching FOX, no matter what anybody says.

4

I think when you elect a vulgar president, you're going to get a vulgar response. Deal with it. Trump has reduced us to our lowest common denominator. We can do so much better.

4

@Ravenwolfcasey Interesting you didn't put this strongly-worded opinion in your original post above.

I'm glad he said it. It made me happy. Our country has sunk to the lowest of depths (outside of slavery) since he was "elected," and I appreciate any sliver of sanity planted in the brains of the delusional, no matter how "emotionally unintelligent" the delivery.

You do realize you won't get many cheerleaders on your team here, right?

I reacted as such due to the blatant negative hate speech you all were spewing...ignorance like this is basically religion in a nut shell...

Our economy is the best it's ever been in a long long time...and you must be one of those people that think we should allow any foreign invaders to set up shop here and use the USA while not putting anything back into social securty or medicaid...it's not racist to want to protect your assets and natural resources .....you should invite some illegals to come stay with you...

Lmao I won't get cheerleaders on my team? Is that supposed to scare me into submission or something?

@Ravenwolfcasey you're insane. Best for who? At least half of American citizens are in deeper financial crisis than they have been since the housing bubble burst. The only people gaining any ground are the ultra wealthy and corporations. Don't peddle your lies here. We know fact from fiction lady and your lies on work on the uneducated.

@Ravenwolfcasey I'll give you a thumbs up for not being afraid to voice your opinion, which should be as welcomed as any other.

The unfortunate result of emotional political speech is the incessant use of logical fallacy to shut down opposing opinions. It's rife in this thread.

Good for him...

I'm quite amazed about the way this conversation has turned into so much protection of pussy grabbing trump, WOW, what have we become as a country ? While all the action and activity regarding Canada was not mentioned once, by anyone ! I can see it so clearly with trump, as I've been watching for these 500 plus days is how he just shifts the focus every time the heat is on, and so many, like watching a bee above their head, just follow, starry eyed !!! The man is a con man and he is ripping our country apart at any and all levels possible, and his team of bandits are following behind, such as Scott Pruitt, and everyone thinks it is GREAT ? As far as saying FUCK Obama, without the actual words I watched the right, red side do that over and over again, blocking his path for any and everything, like Mitch said, "my goal is to make Obama a one term president", so don't give me the crap how it is only beginning since the orange man has shown. Don't forget, orange man rose to fame, to the cheer of the racists with "birtherism" !!!!

If Obama had been named Hal Smith rather than Obama, the racism would have been only half as bad, but, you had a black man with a muslim name, and this so closely behind 9/11, it was a haters and a racists DREAM !!!!

3

I have problems with the idea of appeasing that little prick. Peace at any price isn't worth it.

And yes, I was purposefully ambiguous about which little prick I am talking about.

3

If met, I'd tell him the same myself. But he might get "bone spurs". Again. N.K. has not been in a war in 60 years! Dipshit wants to start one! They haven't been a direct threat to us!

@jorj The guy forgot how to drink water. All I have to say...

@jorj exactly

@jorj You might want to know a few things before you make a statement. Actually Libya did a number of not so good things. The first thing that comes to mind is that Pam Am airliner that was brought down over Scotland, that was directly tied to the Libyans....

@Dhiltong And much, much, much more. Mostly toward his own citizenry, Thus the hanging and resounding celebration of his death. But, things did go further down after that.

@jorj Here's a little reading for you. [nytimes.com]
Plus, Qaddafi was overthrown by his own people and it wasn't the U.S.'s doing. The rebels were backed by NATO!!!

@jorj I’ve never been a fan of ‘regime change’ since when has that worked out well. The situation with Libya was a little different where the country had descended into a bloody civil war. The decision by the U.N. and NATO to intervene on the side of the rebels was due to Libya’s past support for terroism. Before the civil war broke out Qudaffi was actually trying to distance himself from the past and make Libya a respectable country. Remember Trump was calling for regime change in NK until KJU, who’s only like 33 yrs. old had a change of heart. And Trump being one not to pass an opertunity to make himself look good jumped all over that situation. But he is still openly calling for regime change in Iran.

2

Of course we have had talks with North Korea before. And we had agreements that North Korea broke.

Amerikkka is the least trustworthy nation on the planet.

That is not true. @NeilHorner

@NeilHorner What? How do you figure? You may be right, but I'd like to know how you come to that conclusion?

Nigeria is more trustworthy?

Saudi Arabia?

Venezuela?

Uganda?

@Coppersmith1965 Yup.

2

After looking at all of the answer to this question, I really want people to tell me what this con man has done for this country.

@jorj Obama wanted to meet with Kim Jong Un and all you could hear on FoxNews was how ridiculous it was and treasonous for a president to meet with a dictator. And the tax cuts were for the 1%. And what little the rest of us got (if any, because most of us got nothing), will time out in 8 yrs in time for the next administration and make it seem like THAT president ruined the economy when we're witnessing it now. PS... if it wasn't for ACA, I'd be dying of melanoma. The proposal to disallow preexisting conditions including pregnancy, cancer, diabetes, etc. will pretty much preclude any of us from EVER having insurance again... Thanks Obama... oh wait... Thanks DRUMPH You either sound like a Trump supporter in disguise, or just very ill informed.

@jorj Trump trying to make peace with N Korea is a play out of the Obama book: [nowthisnews.com] That man has no original ideas and when he finally learns something, he talks about it as though it's new to us as well, when, in fact, he is just ill-informedm and the general public knows more about our government & policies and issues of the day than he does.

As for healthcare, single-payer/Medicare for all is the way to go, of course. The ACA is a result of Obama's plan being vetted and amended for 2 years by Republicans. A "courtesy" not given to Dems under a Republican administration... and we see how that turned out.

There's no reason the so-called "wealthiest country on the planet" cannot pull off healthcare for all.

2

De Niro was awesome. Jury's still out for me on Trump. I'll grant him this North Korea trip. But he's done and said way to many more stupid things.

Well he's certainly a great actor.

You DO realize Obama wanted to talk to N Korea in 2008 and FoxNews lit him on fire, right?

2

I personally wish more people would say it. But reflecting HIS words. I wish more people would just quote the awful things this president has said about others back at him.

As to the Korean Summit, Trump has already poisoned that well.
