Question everything!

The Golden Rule: do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

How not to fear the unknown.

You can't teach it. But empathy.

That there is only one race, and it inhabits the entire planet.

Instead of race, I would use humanity. There is only one humanity.

@jlynn37 It is the human race, which is why l used that term. There are humans with no humanity, Putin, Kim, and Trump, to name just three. Of course there are hundreds of thousands more. ☺

@Sticks48 I believe humanity is a species, not a race.

Skepticism

MYOB or BYOB...I'm not sure which would have the most impact.

3

Empathy

Exactly. I read the question and thought"Well that's easy!"

That's okay.... I pass. I am not even trying. Raised without god, haven't try to kill myself or kill somebody else. I am not preaching anything, I am braging and stop following me. I am a godless, selfish none vagina.

Abandon all your indoctrinated beliefs, observe the evidence and think for yourself.

I'd teach them the Peter Principle where everyone rises to the level of their own incompetence.

Don't waste your time and energy trying to control things that you have absolutely no control over.
Alternate: Actions have consequences. You have a choice of your actions, you do not have a choice of the consequences of your actions.

Leave things alone

Which things? Natural or cultural things?

@Matias mostly plants, animals, rocks, hills, mountains, water. We mess everything up. We should stop and leave things be. We have enough.

@weelittleone That would be fine if we could do it. But 7 billion human beings (more to come) have to live somewhere, and they have to eat something.... No animal can leave its environment alone, they all have some impact. And humans are having the biggest impact, even if they switch to "sustainable development" or "green growth" ...
