Let's talk pet peeves! Here are my BIG ones!
---People who talk on their cell phones while exercising at the gym.
---People who appear not to know they have turn signals on their vehicles.
---People who think it's okay to tell me to "have a blessed day"!
---People who don't move their shopping carts over to the side so that other shoppers can pass them by.
---People who fail to say "Thank you." when I hold the door open for them. (When it happens, I yell at them, "You're goddamn welcome!" )
---People who display that goddamn Christian fish on the back of their cars or trucks.
---People who don't seem to know that libraries should be quiet places.
---People who drive with their windows open, who pull up next to me at a stop light, with super loud rap music emanating from their car's interior.
---People with saccharine demeanors.

Okay, I could go on and on, but I already have a reputation as a grumpy old man. Wouldn't want to reinforce that reputation too, too much 🙂

Religious people spouting religious bs. Shut up already.

People who walk down the street with their head in their phone.

People who don't clean up after themselves.

I agree with all that. Those behaviours are selfishness manifest basically.

Drivers who don't use their headlights.

Drivers who don't observe safe follow distance.

Drivers who hang out in my goddamn blind spot.

People who mumble when they know that I'm hard of hearing.

Groups that insist on going three abreast at a snail's pace in a walkway.

I'm sure there are more. ?

I don't pet my peeves. They bite.

People who talk on the cell phone while trying to check out at the grocery store, or at any store where a person is checking out your stuff. I find this so completely rude and many times I say something to the person. Really folks, the call can wait. People who text while driving!!!!!! This one really makes me angry because it's so freaking dangerous!!!!!

Geez, that's quite a list, Rob. I don't like if people try to talk over me. Or if I park in a remote place in a lot with empty spaces on either side and someone inexplicably parks right next to me. Or I need one of something and I can only buy a package of 20. Or a 12 dollar glass of wine with a pour that's only half a glass. And now, they put frigging avocado's, which I am allergic to, on everything. And yeah, you kids get OFF my damn LAWN!! ?

Love your list. I will add

  • People who stop their cars in the middle of the street to discharge a passenger and don't care that they could have pulled into one of the available parking spots. They would rather tie up traffic.
  • Bookstores should also be quiet places. People please be quiet and store managers please stop blaring inane music.
  • People who ask you a question and then answer it for you
  • People who talk on their cell phones in a restaurant
  • Restaurants who play music so loudly that you cannot talk to your dinner companion
  • Weathermen who can't get the damned weather correctly forecast
