Anyone remember having something like this? When getting a phone call was an event! I can't remember the last time I used the land line? 😂

Even though I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry, I still get half a dozen calls from unknown numbers every day. My phone is on "silent" so I don't answer but it's still a PITA to have to delete them. Very seldom do I actually talk on the phone. It's mostly text messages nowadays.

Had a land line way back in the twentieth century.

The only reason i have a land line is for internet purposes.

Not used a landline at home in years. The wires still come in for the internet and I apparently have a phone number, but no phone.

I remember those but we didn't have one. Our phone was on the wall ear a linen closet which I would hide in for privacy.

The crappy furniture we had in the 60s and early 70s is now highly collectible. I bet the old orange vinyl couch we had in the basement is worth a good 600 bucks?, if we had the matching orange shag carpeting and bean chairs we could make a mint 🙂
