Looks like your theory was correct. I like them because they taste good & I appreciate their creamy texture.

I could live on avocados, mangos, and black beans.

Most of people like avocados.
And just a reminder that in some parts of the world avocado is used as a sweet fruit, for puddings, pies, shakes and even just mixed with sugar.

You mean that mushy gooey greasy paste that looks like boogers?...pretty tasty isn't? ??

The deliciousness of avocados has nothing to do with atheism. They're just awesome.

I just think a lot of people like avocados I don't think it has anything to do with religious preference

I personally like them diced up with salt and pepper and a side of cottage cheese and a glass of buttermilk

I used to have a ginormous avocado tree in my yard. Produced massive amounts of avocados. Never ate one. Gross. Gave them all away. I was quite popular.

I grew up in Haiti with my American missionary parents, where they have the biggest, juiciest avocados on earth. I didn't like avocados at first, but during my first furlough in the US, I found myself craving them, and couldn't get enough when I returned to Haiti.

Avocado trees were all over our mission and your life was in danger during avocado season. As soon as we heard the crashing sound of a huge fruit coming down through the branches, we ran for our lives. Can't imagine someone surviving a direct hit on the head.

We ate smashed avocado on everything..from cassava bread, smooshed together with hot pepper peanut butter, to sandwiches, etc.

In the US avocados expensive, so my ex and I told our kids that avocados tasted "nasty" and they wouldn't like them. Of course, that only piqued their interest and they wanted some at once, loving it immediately. Oh, well.

I had a polenta, avocado and tomato sandwich for dinner, damm good and I’m damn atheist. Perhaps the complex compounds increase brain function in the area of critical thinking? Have you noticed large numbers of religios people hating on avocados?

I am not an avocado fan. They're OK, but I can do without them.

So much deliciousness... only a monster would say no to guacamole!

I guess I'm a monster then.

They really suck... but not as good as you baby...

@BBeberstein I would rather suck you than an avocado any day, love!

Nope! You can have mine.

how did you learn this, and if you already know it, what do you need the poll for?

Who doesn't like avacodos? I am not an athiest

of course not. there is no such thing as an athiest. athiest is a superlative adjective (you're ath, i'm even athier, look at that guy, he's the athiest i ever saw!)

however, there are a lot of atheists here. i am one of them.

i love avocados.

however, that proves nothing about atheists in general (or even avocados in general).

So-so. Does that make me an agnostic?

I love me some guacamole, avocados alone I'm not too big on. Maybe I'm not atheist enough. Lol
