If you could get one more season of any TV show what would it be? Me ( And some do not like it. But that's ok) Seinfeld... I've seen every episode like a million times and laugh like it's the first time. It is just so stupid it's a show about nothing that's why it's funny to me. And you?

Breaking Bad for sure! Or the series Rome on HBO...

5

Firefly or original outer limits

Deadwood, no question.

@josh_is_exciting I've been hearing rumors about it. I sure hope this comes to pass. If Milch is writing and the original cast (the ones that are still alive of course) is back, this should be AWESOME.

Game of Thrones
Deadwood
Sons of Anarchy
Justified
The Sopranos

@DaphneDarling Agreed. The ending of Justified was damned satisfying. They left no loose ends. Ava was living peacefully, away from Harlan, with her son. Boyd was in prison, where he belonged. That he thought she was dead, and didn't know he had a son, was completely appropriate. Raylan was getting to be a dad, and he wasn't with Wynonna. I would still like to see it again. I'd love to see how Loretta McCready was doing as the Weed Queen of Kentucky. They could do a whole series just centered around that.

Justified was outstanding. Deadwood was good, but not as good as Justified. The series, Fargo was very good also. However, it is notable that all the very best miniseries (dramas)were not broadcast T.V. but made for cable or some other...broadcast T.V. just cannot maintain a good story-line indefinately. Take the Walking Dead for instance...after the first few episodes the writers ran out of ideas and resorted to (ugh! sudder!), soap opera gratuitous darting eyes, emotional relationships. If I wanted to watch that shit, I would watch Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, or "As the Stomach Turns."

Deadwood. What happened? Was it too real?

Star Trek the next generation

[rte.ie]

@Secretguy I saw all the old ones but that's okay. It was another place and time. Still fun to think about.

Breaking Bad

3

Firefly

Cosmos
Beakman's world
Any of the stargates

There is another season of Cosmos coming out in spring.
Looking very much forward to that one as well.

@TristanNuvo could be the old one with Sagan or the new one

Everyone who said "Firefly",

RESPECT!

Seinfeld was absolutely brilliant at the time for one thing, they did have a formula and they stick to it for the lenght of the show. As opposed to Dexter for instance, great formula that got turned into soap opera...just let him kill bad people !!!!…..... Anyhow, too many to list here. I have been collecting entire seasons of all kinds of series to rewatch as I keep getting old. Last but not least, if Game of Thrones would continue for more seasons then I wouldn't mind !!

Dexter.

1

Carnival.

1

Better Off Ted or Firefly

1

Psych 🙂

One more season of Alf would be great. That would be enough to finish his character arc.

1

Carnivàle and Dead Like Me

1

The Leftovers. Brilliant show...all too short.

1

Northern Exposure.

Boston Legal. Or West Wing. Or Star Trek (original).

1

Dexter.
Mythbusters with original members.
There are a few others, but they actually do have another season coming, like Game of Thrones, and Cosmos.

1

Hill Street Blues

1

Carnivale

When Carnivale got dropped not long after Deadwood, I've been reluctant to become committed to shows that might no ending.

@brentan I credit HBO for my entertainment trust issues. 😛

1

NewsRadio. In my mind, it was the best sitcom to have ever been made. Of course, the season would have to somehow resurrect Phil Hartman, but it would be worth having Zombie Bill just to hear that cast work together one more time.

1

The West Wing and Northern Exposure would both make my shortlist, but I'd probably have to go with Buffy.

1

Game of Thrones.
