Yeah, sometimes I see on dating profiles "non-religious but spiritual." I still don't have a sense as to what that means. I am assuming that the person doesn't belong to an organized religion, but buys into more generalized superstitions.

i always assume it means crystals horoscopes and whale song music at the very least 🙂

Belief is obviously different from asserting something as fact.

New Age beliefs are mostly just something from an older age. As humans we tend to repeat.

Very few give much thought to their religious beliefs or bother to investigate them. So it comes as no surprise.
The interesting thing here to me is the reaffirmation that the uneducated, female, and democrats tend to have more New Age beliefs.

I evidently according to these demographics had a propensity to be a "hard" atheist, as I am male somewhat educated and Libertarian.

this is not true of democrats i know, and i know/meet an awful lot of democrats!

Very interesting article and stats.
