Duran Duran - Love Voodoo

Good - Duran Duran deserves a shout out. That's a track I've never heard.

@UrsiMajor I’m a huge Duran Duran fan. I’m even tattooed with their logos. LOL. I know several very sexy DD songs.

@graceylou Off the top of my head I would have come up with "Come Undone" or "Rio" without having a list of other options in front of me...I haven't seen them in concert... I'm guessing they would be great... When the lead singer has a strong voice, hearing them live usually isn't a disaster...

@UrsiMajor I went to see them a couple of years ago. They are still amazing. I have 14 of their albums and that’s not even complete yet. The songs I’m thinking of are Bedroom Toys, Do You Believe in Shame, Box Full of Honey, and a few others.

@UrsiMajor Another DD great

Duran Duran - Come Undone, is a good song as well.

@SleeplessInTexas For sure. I know it very well. One of my favourite songs.

GREAT song! Old school! Hell yeah!

3

Great song - always liked it. Didn't know the name of the artist,

There is no way I could ever pick just one lol
So many !

Classy.. Made famous by the pottery scene in "Ghost."

@UrsiMajor This is one of the 'slow' songs that would get played at dances when I was in high school. I loved this song way before the movie re-popularized it.

3

Scorpions - Animal Magnetism

Not sure how that other tune got in there

I listen to "The Zoo" and "Rock you like a Hurricane" sometimes in my classic rock line up. This is pretty awesome too...

OMFG I LOVE THAT SONG! And you're soooo right. VERY sexy. ❤

Gawd his laugh at the end slays me.... swoon

Also covered by Robert Plants band:
The Honey drippers.
Sea of Love

Heather Masse - Bathtub

You fill me up like a bathtub
You swallow my body as the bubbles come up
You're like a cup of chocolate stuff
You're dark and deep and just sweet enough
You've got what I love

Slide your soap down my spine
Up my legs into my mind
I've been thinking bout you baby
For such a long time
Pour your water on my honey
Wash my body with your wine
All I want is to be with you all the time

You fill me up like a bathtub
You swallow my body as the bubbles come up
You're like a cup of chocolate stuff
You're dark and deep and just sweet enough
You've got what I love

Who needs to order an old school bathtub now.? To provide support to the walk-in shower?

Billy Joel did a great cover of this but I think the original with Cohens deep voice is still the best

She stands before you naked You can see it, you can taste it, And she comes to you light as the breeze. Now you can drink it or you can nurse it, It don't matter how you worship As long as you're Down on your knees. So I knelt there at the delta, At the alpha and the omega, At the cradle of the river and the seas. And like a blessing come from heaven For something like a second I was healed and my heart Was at ease. O baby I waited So long for your kiss For something to happen, Oh something like this. And you're weak and you're harmless And you're sleeping in your harness And the wind going wild In the trees, And it ain't exactly prison But you'll never be forgiven For whatever you've done With the keys.

Leonard Cohen could sing verses from the Bible and it would still be hot.

@UrsiMajor "Song of songs" is bloody hot

The Crystal Method - Falling Hard
Hybrid - Disappear Here
Madonna - I Want You
Massive Attack - Angel
Hooverphonic - Eden
Garbage - #1 Crush
Mazzy Star - Fade Into You
Doro Pesch - Love Me In Black
Zircon - Memory
FM-84 - Goodbye
The Rasmus - Save Me Once Again
Richard Marx - Angelia

The Crystal Method - Falling Hard

Someone broke out Mazzy Star and Garbage- you guys don't disappoint... Madonna deserves a nod for sure... I'm not familiar with any of your other picks but that's going to have to change...

I was going to say The Crystal Method sounds a lot like Mazzy Star had an update on her psychedelic background music -- then they brought in the techno feedback in the end. Only the Jesus and Mary Chain' s feedback survives the test of time. And posting a J and M song is on my to do list if nobody beats me to it.

More stripper music. Why do I feel like stripping at the bar in Westworld?

2

You Look Like Rain by Morphine.

I forgot how great Morphine is(the group) - thanks for reminding me. I'll put this song on my songs to strip to list. Oh yeah, I am celibate. Nevermind. I guess I could use the workout.

@UrsiMajor
Hah! It's all good. I am living the life of a semi-liberal monk.l

2

I Want You by Holly Cole. Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing by Chris Isaak.

Saw Holly Cole years ago. “Don’t smoke in bed” is one of my faves. She has a very sexy voice

2

"Wet dream" by lords of acid

"Closer" by nine inch nails

Interesting people remember the Lords of Acid. Techno wasn't just a blip on the radar..

I like "Rough Sex" from Lords of Acid.

2

Feelin' Love by Paula Cole. This song's lyrics whisper sexy to me.

"YES!!!" As they say in The Voice. You made me google the year on that... 1996- amazed I don't know the song ot the artist. Maybe my next post will be find me some new amazing music I don't know... But thanks for that one...

Paula has a great voice. She toured with Peter Gabriel before.

2

How about Exile in “I want to kiss you all over”.

I know that song. Never knew who sang it... Learned something... Sounds one-hit-wonderish.. But I've been wrong before...

2

NIN -Fuck you like an animal

I wish NiN wouldn't hold back and tell me what's on their mind sometimes..

@UrsiMajor Haha...I know it's subtle right?
I mean I should have used the song title "Closer" but nah...

2

Rod Stewart's "Tonight's The Night."

great song.. That takes me back..

1

Phil Phillips and the Twilight's
Sea of Love

1

Sexual Healing....Marvin Gaye

1

Chris Stapleton Tennessee Whiskey

Is that technically country? That's as good as country gets. His voice reminds me of Nathaniel Rateliff's. Wow.

@UrsiMajor bluesy country if that is a thing.

@GreatNani It is. ☺

@Sticks48 Love it so if you have any recommendations let me know.

@GreatNani If you are not familiar with Delbert McClinton, check him out. I have been a fan of his since the mid 70's. Did a couple of shows with him. He is the epitome of country blues.

@Sticks48 Love him! Was listening to him on the way to work this morning.🙂

@GreatNani You go girl.

@GreatNani

@UrsiMajor Put it on my spotify! Thank you!

@GreatNani

@UrsiMajor Playing it now at work.

@UrsiMajor I forgot his name. I saw him on Austin City Limits a couple of weeks ago. I liked him a lot. Good choice.

Miracles by Jefferson Starship...there is a line in the song that just....mmmmmmmmmm

Didn't they also do "The White Rabbit" or am I confused?

@UrsiMajor They did...but that was Jefferson Airplane with Grace Slick singing...Miracles is sung by Marty Balin...this song always puts me in the mood...
