Want to microchip me fine you have to rent the space and pay me for the information I generate. I think one hundred thousand dollars a month would be about right. Oh, I want my regular pay and full benefits also. If I am going to generate data I get access to it and I get to know what you are doing with it. If you make money from the data I get half. OK.

Im not surprised. People are so desperate for a roof over their head and food on the table that companies think they can get away with anything.

It's a prelude to voter ID eventually....just watch

[snopes.com] this snopes article doesn't mention the uk or this specific company that is, per the yahoo report, in talks about possibly microchipping its employees (no mention of anyone actually doing it), but this kind of thing apparently is being reported hither and yon and either isn't true or is at most voluntary. i would not panic yet.

Not without consent, no. Ever signed a stock form liability waiver? Yes of course you have. That was also done with your "consent."

Anyone who would agree to that deserves whatever happens as a result of it.
I'm sick of stupid people agreeing to stupid shit.

Yep: It’s legal with consent! And, we know “responsible adults” will consent to all sorts of very silly stuff.

You beat me to it!

@KenChang It's not a competition, Ken. (Four out of five wins!)

I suppose anything people will put up with is legal for now. Employers are allowed to be as intrusive as people will allow for. The IT building for a local hospital Id like to work at won't even let you test positive for nicotine. The workplace is not even on a medical campus.
