I honestly hope that once he’s out office that there’s not a mass catastrophe of people dying of trump withdrawal.
But sadly I believe it’ll be our country’s next crisis. I’m just saying that he gets off on being on the minds of everyone and especially being the focal point of their lives.

He doesn’t care that he’s making y’all miserable hell he probably masturbates to it so just think about that.

And please don’t get me wrong I’m in no way telling anyone what to do with lives but only suggesting to not waste them on him.
There’s a whole new batch of politicians that need your support as well those that we need to get elected in 2020.

I only bring this up because all I seem to hear and see is trump this trump that like there’s nothing else or no one else in some peoples lives and most importantly because the person or person’s that we’re all in need of to be OUR next leader very well might be overlooked.
But is just my observation and opinion.

You are a voice of reason...I had to leave FB and shut off the TV to gain perspective...I do not want that man in my mind more than necessary to keep informed...I agree that focusing on our next group of vibrant, high energy, motivated and caring leaders of the future is the way to do something positive rather than wallow in negative misery...insightful post...thanks!

And you call that a"catastrophe" because.......?

Actually come to think of it in some cases it’ll be a blessing to actually have a society with brains and guts again. So you might be on to something

I can't speak for anyone else, but once 45 is gone, I'm sure I'll have plenty of other things to fill the void. Life is like that.

He is taking up so much time and energy because he is doing incredible damage.
It would be nice to starve him of the attention he craves, and have him wither up and die. Unfortunately, it's imperative that we stay focused on everything he's doing because it effects us all, and will continue to effect us for a very long time.

I lived through Nixon, Watergate, and the Vietnam War, and in case you haven't noticed, we're still dealing with the fallout from all those things. Granted, 40+ years out, it's not as raw as it was, but we're still dealing with it and talking about it.
This period in our nation's history will not be any different.

A short time after Gerald Ford took office, he said "Our long national nightmare is over."
We've got a new nightmare now. We aren't even close to this one being over.

Well have you ever noticed how the saying history is destined to repeat itself?
Maybe it’s because we can never focus on just doing the right things afterwards but instead we focus and highlight everything that was wrong and mostly we look to who’s the blame whether or not they actually were but we for some reason need to have someone because we can never look at ourselves and except anything that we might’ve done.

It’s human nature to do so but it’s also human nature to stare at a fatal accident which is what our society is doing now and it’s becoming obsessive.
Honestly KK who’s most likely to the best choice to run against trump and why?
And the why has to be anything other than trump himself. That’s what we need focus on and start demanding from both parties and independents at this point.

Who’s the most qualified to sit down and focus the repairs this country needs to make not to run and not do shit for 4 years and use trump as an excuse.

Do you see where I’m going with this? There’s dozens of news agencies and dipshits Twitter account that’s keeping a record of his reckless and ignorant behavior.

There’s a senate, a congress, a Supreme Court, governors and federal judges from 50 states to help fence him in and as some people so ignorantly fear if he should attempt to unlawfully release the “ nukes “ that’s what the marines are there for.

Just saying that the secret service is there to protect the president and The marines are there to protect the White House and the American people just in case the administration should go rouge.
And that’s all I have to say about that

@Alshaytan yep---same shit, different poopers...

@thinktwice Different poopers that’s so cute ?

Yes, I remember very well Ford saying "Our long national nightmare is over," and I keep hoping I'll be able to hear a new Democratic president (or even a real moderate Republican, if any still exists) one day say those same words.

I understand that when he was just 12 they found him in the temple teaching all the rabbi's who were simply amazed.

Oh, never mind.

Hold on I have a picture for that

@Alshaytan got brain bleach? I did not need to see that...lol...ugh...so true, sadly

I will be glad not to think of our asshole in chief once he is impeached, evicted, indicted or otherwise incarcerated. He and his whole family is exactly like the Kardashians... And just as vapid!

I am impressed with the newest crop of Dems in Congress. I love their backgrounds and stories of why they ran for office. It kind of reminds me of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington!

Yes there’s a couple that if they survive their first term and don’t give in the temptations and pressure that seem to come with the job that they will eventually become forces to reckon with.

I always thought it would be the left that starts the next civil war the way the right behaves and all the suppression on the poor, but ironically, it may be the right that starts it when they ultimately don't get their way. Not only are they shameless liars, they are also whiny crybabies.

These days I don't take any politician seriously...

Yeah I won’t until they remove the lobbyist money from their pockets.

prob will be another crash once a democrat gets in office

All depends on whether or not all the scouting being done is intentional.

But just look at who’s waiting in the wings to take over...

Who? Pence? He’ll be too busy suffering from the same thing that I’m suffering from now and that’s nobody shutting up for more than 3 seconds about trump.
And besides y’all have got to get that damn fear out of your system because it’s being induced by the media and soon it’ll be crippling.

@Alshaytan I’m British, you’re somewhat off the mark.

Fear of what? Trump? The man’s either monumentally stupid or monumentally narcissistic; either way he is phenomenally self centred. People are right to be fearful, and not from the media but from his own words and actions, he doesn’t need the media for that. He is the laughing stock of the world.

And Pence, yes, he’s keeping very quiet, playing a waiting game, but I suspect that he too will be dangerous, although not in the same way, of course.

@Cassiopeia Hold on don’t y’all have your own issues to deal with at this moment? Your input is appreciated but not when your garden’s a hot mess as well ( brexit )

And no you’re actually very wrong. It’s ignorant to fear the words of anyone unless those words are ( I’m going to kill you and there’s an actual weapon in their fucking hands! )
And you wouldn’t be so aware of his negative traits if not for our media spending 24 hours piping about his every move.

And it’s not like we don’t know that he’s a fucking twat but we have a system for dealing with it and like it not it will do it’s job but not until everything else is done.
So please have a good day and remember that words actually don’t hurt ✌?

@Alshaytan Trump’s actions affect the whole world, ffs.

Of course words can hurt, his words are enabling racism, misogyny and xenophobia. He is legitimising hate. And it”s not just words, of course, his actions are endangering the earth, in more than one way. You cannot be that naive.

And your media should indeed be reporting his every dreadful word and act.

@Cassiopeia It’s not about naive it’s that I don’t need an excuse for not doing shit and neither should the rest of the world.

When he leaves office (one way or another) there's going to be a world wide party that will take a long time to top. Removing him from office won't be easy. Mental instability won't be easy to prove, but might be possible. Impeachment might be harder. First he has to have committed a provable crime, and the house has to pass the articles of impeachment ( the crimes he is charged with) and then the senate tries him on the charges. With the senate controlled by republicans, being found guilty will be a large order.

I’m just going to say that if you look at what just happened his conviction won’t come from the federal level but from the state of New York where if he’s convicted they can’t immediately arrest him unless he’s impeached and pence nor any other president can pardon him.

Just saying that sometimes you’ve gotta watch the chess board and not the players.

I don't see that anyone is doing more to get Trump out of office than Trump is himself. If he was a Democrat and everything else were the same he would have been impeached and out of office months ago. He possibly would have also been if he were any other Republican. But Trump himself has said that he could shoot somebody in the middle of Times Square and never even get arrested and I think that he is right about that. Even if they hate him, his party will protect him no matter what he does.

So I don't think Trump is going anywhere until January 2021 at the earliest, and possibly not even then.

I agree with most of that but my money is on him resigning sometime before March of next year. Mueller’s investigation will hurt him but not finish him. He’s mainly stripping away the layers of people surrounding trump but the Congress is going to find what’s needed for impeachment if not something to indicte him with.

So he’ll bail, settle issues with the state of New York if need be he’ll take a plea deal over his Fed case and pence will pardon him. Trump will right a book and sell it and trump water in Walmart and other than that he’ll be a political thorn until he dies.
But that’s just what I see.

@Bendog Cohen agreed to talk with mueller because trump told him that there would be no pardon for him
