One time i went to a church group for a friend. They began discussing music and satanism....i then took it upon myself to show them true satanic black metal. I could no longer abide them labeling Metallica as devil music lol.
Soooooo i introduced these folks to Behemoth.
Yeah I remember the church youth group meeting where we were given evidence that heavy metal music was satanic music. My older brother really got into heavy metal music after that meeting and still is into metal. I guess the meeting didn't get the intended effect. Ooops.
I would love to have been a fly on the wall for that.
I say lock all these Christians in a room and make them listen to nothing but Norwegian Death Metal for three days straight. Then they’ll actually KNOW what devil music is.
Metallica is about on the same level as Michael Bolton on the scale between being and not being devil music.
Wait.... I have to take that back. Michael Bolton’s off key screeching on his horrible remake of How Am I Supposed To Live Without You is about the closest thing to hell in actual existence. Michael Bolton is MORE satanic than Behemoth.
Throughout my life, I have struggled to understand Bob Dylan's singing. I go for days trying to identify a word here or there in the lyrics. The older I get, the harder it gets until, at my advanced age of 67, I have nearly given up. Now I have this song to analyze. In the second verse, is the gravel voiced dude asking, "my beer is warm, bring me another"? Is this what you call Satanic Country Music? If it is all right with you and the other posters displaying their favorite Satanic melodies that curdle your soul songs, I am going to stick to to Bob Dylan in the hopes I interpret his lyrics before I die.
Noice. Probably would have gone for Morbid Angel or Entombed myself, 'cause I'm an old school death metal fan.
Haha.... I remember in my teen days being forced to attend Sunday youth groups and they brought in a video explaining why almost all music is of the devil. Stairway Heaven was in the mix because it tells you there are two paths you can go by and of course the one Led Zeppelin was trying to lead you down was to the devil. They had the Cure in there because..... I don't know.... probably because Robert Smith has weird hair. It was ridiculous.
