Reading the Bible TURNS thinking people into atheists. Which is why the early church forbade ‘commons’ from reading it, instead they had to light candles/pay for god’s words/blessings/forgiveness, etc. Going(being dragged) to evangelical churches for teacing(attempted indoctrination) showed me that religion was crazy fakery at age 6. So, thanks mom! Otherwise it might have taken years to be enlightened(see through the bullshit).

My mom tried to get me to go church for quite sometime. She eventually gave up because I was persistent. Have you persistently told her your thoughts on religion? If she has a nice girl for you to meet, you might try it out. I once dated a girl who's idol was Sarah Palin and watched televangelist web streams daily. Needless to say it didn't work out but we still had fun ? for a bit.

The book of Job is a great example of the "god" being a total piece of shit. A childish bully only concerned with itself.

I start with explaining a few of the things that piss me off about christianity, the main one being if I cause you harm, your forgiveness is the only forgiveness that should matter, not some make believe entity. So i burn down your house, but my neighbor's bosses sister forgives me so alls well with the world. Huh?

And I end with the fact that in order to survive any creature has to harm another creature (I consider plants creatures too), so god either doesn't exist or is a total asshole.

I got a wrong number at 6:30 AM a couple days ago. My heart sank as I thought for sure someone died. I can't remember the last time the phone rang that early, but it has been years and years.

My mother is an atheist so I don't have that problem. But she does remind me that I'm single and how she just "wants me to be happy and loved" ?

If your Mom needs to intervene in your personal choices and she's good hearted, just follow her tune when on the phone and then ignore it!

I'm not sure how open she would be to "Jesus = lucifer" lol, even if it is maybe true in a sense ("...and I create evil;I the LORD do all these things" ) but some other Scripture might, "there is only One Immortal, no one has ever gone up to heaven," and then maybe you could hit her with the lucifer thing later lol
