I have no problem with the word “god”
It is fun and nonsensical to get into an argument with those who assign ‘life’ to this word.
To me the word “god’ is simply a metaphor for that unknowable ultimate reality.
It’s portrayals as anthropomorphic deities are archaic, juvenile and are to be outgrown.
The word can symbolize many different ideas to different people. It can be used as an exclamation to express emotions. A scapegoat for the mysteries of the case and effect.
A disguise when you think to yourself in an attempt to reinforce behavior. Or the public recipient of your mission statement, a metaphor for human interaction.
God is just a word.

Never bothered me. Represents different things to different people. So many would get hung up on words.

i would have no problem with god meaning what you said if that is what god meant. however, it HAS a meaning, or meanings, already, and they are meanings that MEAN something to people -- people have feelings about those meanings. there is no use making up new meanings for old words that are so emotionally charged for those who care about them. every word is just a word. so what? you have a new meaning? find a new word.
