What is the answer for your happiness? Or what answer can work for your love ones or for your gross national product of happiness?

I look for the worst downsides and best upsides first. The rest, just works itself out.

Downsides - Most pet pev is mostly, people don't like their work. Then the ABCs of life. Like new Cancers, heart and lung diseases, stroke, Alzheimer's, diabetes, and suicides have been rising. ..First time in modern history, life expectancy is declining in the U.S.
Notice 70% of world population has only 3% of the world's wealth. That makes a great deal of suffering from these greedy bastards that make up only 1% who own most everything.

Upsides - I have thrived most of my life by solving problems with health and have no regrets . Yet always can improve. Best thing is to change myself first, let assholes be assholes. What works for me is being an optimist, attitude of gratitude and being my own best leader in the world. Controling my own destiny rather slheeping to phony leaders who don't care if you or me live or die. My priority, put my life in order and for my circle of love ones. Love ones have also used this one method and love it. It helps alot in understanding each other.

These are means to an end the way I want to feel like, from top to bottom in order of priorities.
1.Love
2.Health
3.Freedom
4.Security
5.Fun or joy
6.Intimacy
7.Flexible
8.Passion
9.Successful
10.Self empowerment

Try your own list of priorities in your life. Would be exciting to hear your results.

I'm more of a "watcher" in life. That's what I have turned into. I want to be comfortable and yet see what drives others and why they are driven, etc. The older I get the harder it is for me to understand people. We seem to think that life is "all about us." Surprise! It really is not. Here is a clue. You are the product and everyone wants to sell you. Recently one of my cell phones wants me to go to websites and look at shit. It never did this before, but I am not surprised. So many things in life today are a distraction or a diversion and it's all about making money. No, not you making money. Other people making money and Reality America is full of lies.

Every time I reflect on the fact that my existence is an incredibly freakish accident that is relatively extremely short and absolutely finite, I'm happy. No sense wasting my limited moments.

It seems to me that happiness is a decision. I decide to be happy, no matter what happens. One thing that makes me happy is to make others happy. Helping others, or just doing common courtesies for others makes me very happy. I "always look on the bright side of life." There is always something to smile about. Many times when I wash my hands in the bathroom, I look at myself in the mirror, make funny faces, and end up laughing to myself. 🙂

Did you see Monty Python where every was on the cross, singing.
:Always be looking on the bright side,.. of life:

@Castlepaloma I've seen that. And though it is meant to be comical, they make a good point. What we choose to see -- the bright side or the dark side -- is how we end up feeling inside.

How do you know when you are happy. What are the criteria?

Happiness is subjective for every individual. My envision is layed out on my priority list. What makes one person happy won't necessarily make another one feel the same. Too much stuff out there is just happyass BS. There are essentials like.

One...most importantly being our health, physical, mental and emotional well being.

Two. what we can forget negatively or your chances of happiness dwindles.

Surviving is not living, thriving is. Anyone of these other essential can unbalance your happiness if done poorly. Or how you solves these problems unsure happiness. Like financially, intellectually, realationships, spiritual, and physical. Money being the least important for happiness, Certainly not having enough can make you unhappy too.

I dare anyone to make a priority list like mine. Where they put in order their means to an end. On what and how they really really want in life and how they really really want to feel. Use any words you want to use. My top 3 is love, health and freedom. My daughter's top word was fun. I had to replace and rearranged that word on my list too.

Blow job

For some guys , that is what they live for. Lol.

3

Just be grateful for what you have and don't worry too much about the rest.

That attitude of gratitude, is a really good one for non-believers

Very encouraging words.

no one actually knows the key to happiness, one reason being that there is no one single key that works for everyone. anyone who tells you they have the key to happiness is at best mistaken and at worst trying to sell you a bridge in arizona.

g

On a blue moon, I get happy on Marrijanna and forget my keys, yet always have spares that work well. I do love, what I do for most waking hours of my life that really really, makes me most happy.

Wow, never attempted to sell an entire bridge. Although that would be useable rather than a huge beautiful wall. Most I ever made is $150,000 from a sancastle. Can I sell you a sandcastle?

I did not know you can make money on agnostic.com.

@Castlepaloma i have my own sandcastle, thank you. i think we all have at least one.

is it the rich guy's fault that he's wealthy?
would you turn down the wealth if it came to you?
how much money do you need to be happy?
is not happiness a choice?
we live pretty high in this country, if we had to live in poverty for a minute we would get pretty greedy really fast.

Is it the rich guy's fault that he's wealthy?

  • No, greed is the worst virtue and diseases in the world. The government or people need to control the greed sickness.

Would you turn down the well if it came to you?
-Yes, and many times have because of integrity. Already earn the wealth of top 7% earners my way and the healthy way

How much money do you need to be happy?
-Money in my life is only 1/5 of the equation in the balance of life. Money is much so of being, imiginary.

Is not happiness a choice?
-Yes, your happiness choice mostly depends on your desired destiny. The rest of it depends on your genes and situation.

We live pretty high in this country, if we had to live in poverty for a minute we would get pretty greedy really fast.
-Nonsense US is really low on the scale of happiness and life expectancy is not compared well to other westernized countries. Just reduce the US Military budget to normal like the rest of countries, Then America will be Great Again. Sweden soaks the wealthy, US is an enabler of the greed for the wealthy and screws the poor and
the povertish worldwide.

is it the rich guy's fault that he's wealthy?

Yes. He has the accomplice liability. The current power structure is built to enhance the concentration of wealth in a small number of people. This concentration of wealth also creates a large number of tragedies around the world. He benefits from it, and he promotes it. Does he actually know that the system is rigged and as a result of it people suffer? Well, probably not. But "The human eye is a wonderful device. With a little effort, it can fail to see even the most glaring injustice.”

would you turn down the wealth if it came to you?

No. I will receive it and redistribute it to those who need it.

how much money do you need to be happy?

In order to be happy, there are some fundamental human needs that must be met. There are lots of those who cannot afford to meet these fundamental needs because of the hyper-concentration of wealth.

is not happiness a choice?

Yes and No. See above.

we live pretty high in this country, if we had to live in poverty for a minute we would get pretty greedy really fast.

Yes and no. It is usually the poor who are generous.

@Castlepaloma ,
millions of brainwashed idiots are still waiting for the "trickle-down effect' to get to them.

@callmedubious

Yes, many Americans slheeps have to reach rock bottom abuse. Before they wake up from the American dream that was not design for them. One of my big concerns is there is more guns than people in America. Chance are, they are three times more likely to shoot themselves by stats, than their ghost Enemies they are aiming for.
