I was watching the other night an episode of the Beverly Hills Housewives with my wife, and I was amazed that Denice Richardson, who just got married said to all the ladies on the show, that her husbands gets massages, and she is ok with the fact that he gets a "happy ending" at the massage parlor, and it doesnt bother her, as it did the other ladies. When asked how she could be so comfortable with this, she replied, he doesnt love these women, he just needs a release, and I can accept that, because he loves me as i do him. So my question is could you accept that from your spouse, because most of my men friends wife do.

IF I was married, and IF the person I was married to had such a massage , no, can't say I'd mind. I liken it to masturbating while watching porn. Keeps the motor running, for when I want a ride ... ha.

love your attitude, my type of woman

I feel at times that our society is antiquated when it comes to sex, when you see how other countries are so way ahead of us. Sometimes after reading some of the comments on here, I think quite a few people could use a release....lol

I use to do massage for a living, and i was always very professional, never stepped over the line, but you would be surprised how many women wanted a release, Didnt want to ever put myself in a position of getting in a position to be blackmailed or worse arrested.

Those housewife shows are amazing. I didn’t know so many over-privileged and stupid people could life in one place. The shallowness is astonishing.

It’s like watching a disaster in unfolding. You don’t want to but you can’t help yourself. I must add this is not prominent pastime for me but when my wife is watching I am intrigued. I even know some of their names!

lol me to, it really makes me appreciated the life i have, being rich isnt everything but being happy is.

@TonyCarl1 I see agree! Who could be bothered with all that fuss.

If an open relationship is your thing? Fine.
Here's the caveat though - bringing your sex life to a massage parlor that's unlicensed is a level of ick I don't ever want to be content with. (Excluding those places that are licensed with adult sex workers who are legal and screened for disease).
First of all it's illegal. It would really suck to get pulled in and put on some sex offender registry.

Also it's pretty much using a human as a jack off device.
Hard Nope.

Just not the way I view human sexuality.

from what i gather he has a private massage person come to his office or home

@TonyCarl1 With sex trafficking so prominently in the news? I can't imagine someone taking the risk in any but a legalized State.

I have no problem with my wife having sex with another man, or woman, and she reciprocates that to me. As the tv housewife says - no love is involved, just a different experience ...

After i watch this show with my wife out of curiosity about this segment, I turned to her and ask how would she feel if that were me, and she said, its just a hand job no big deal, after 52 years i trust you....lol thats why we have been married so long she is 1 cool lady, and knows i would never leave her for a hand job...lol

A woman I work with is appalled that I have been friends with a married woman in Wisconsin for 2 years and we e-mail constantly but we have never met. I assume her husband is OK with it and she has 2 kids. Family oriented and not looking to leave her family in any way, we are simply friends. We gossip to each other about our personal situations and neither of us are fond of people too much.

So agree. When has gender ever been a prerequisite for friendship. We get different things from different people.

This almost sounds like a modified version of polyamory. I was introduced to this type of relationship through Sex and God by Darrel Ray, as well as podcasts by people like Sex With Emily. It's not for everybody, that's for sure, but it does express a unique-style of relationship that is open, secure, and trusting.

The key is open communication. The failure is in hiding and secrets, which would be cheating.

I don't think polyamory and jacking off with help, are the same thing

I believe every couple has to do as they both want to do to be happy. 'Consenting adults' is self defined. I believe there is no reason for me to pass opinion in someone else's private life and what they do because that is the beginning of censoring, criticizing and moralizing.

Agreed. It wouldn’t work for me, but it may be great for someone else. My only caution in this case would be sexually transmitted infection. If the provider wears gloves, fine; otherwise, the husband could contract and transfer to his wife HPV (skin to skin) or other viruses if there is saliva or blood transfer (open cuts on hands or mouth, depending on how the happy ending happens).

Nope. I’ll provide the release, or you can “release” yourself. Not ok with getting it elsewhere.

That's a lot of responsibility. Are there exceptions?

@MarkiusMahamius to allow cheating? Nope. if other people want to agree to be in open relationships thats their business but I’d rather be single.
