Iran says it arrested 17 CIA spies - some sentenced to death. And Leader Trump denies these allegations. Who should Americans believe? Trump lies so I believe Iran. How about you?

What Iran claims may be partly true. Probably only a couple have CIA connections; the others are hostages.

For certain, President Hitler is lying. He only tells the truth to cover some other lie.

Iran is controlled by a group of the most dangerous fascists on the planet. As is Saudi Arabia.

The koran is clear: you must lie to any who deny the greatness of allah.

Simple answer: never trust any politician, leader or anyone else in a position of authority.

I don't believe either party. Until Iran releases names, they may just be trying to secure their position to negotiate. I don't think our intelligence agencies would be dumb enough to reveal who is or isn't an American asset to the idiot in the offal office.

Both of them are playing who has the biggest dick! One or both will push it too far and people will die. I would not believe either of them further than I can throw them.

I don't believe either, but the only way Trump could know is if he had spies and they were all marked as safe on Facebook

I don't necessarily believe either in this case. The U.S. does recruit operatives, or spies, from local populace. That said, Iran with a huge internal and hidden police force has to be difficult to infiltrate- but it was done in the old Soviet days. Anyway, I would hope and expect silence and denial from the U.S., if only for the protection of those arrested. Actual, as deceitful and evil as tRump has proven himself, I wouldn't be surprised to see him admit it just to make a point to his base - look, I infiltrated Iran (nothing about getting caught- that may be why he is silenced)

Intelligence-gathering is a big business. I don't doubt they busted 17 people. But who knows who the "spies" handlers were? Or even if they are guilty?

In this case, I believe neither.

Agreed
