When did you realize you were old?
Me: When I would rather stay in on the weekends than going out.
I was training MMA about 10 years ago and these kids were getting these nasty injuries, but recoverying pretty quick. I knew if I got even a back sprain, my days as a fighter were gonna be numbered. I felt old right then....haha
@Stevil You aren't kidding! Funny side note, the very night I wrote this, I was moving some only moderately heavy stuff and I tripped over something, but didn't fall...and my back went out...haha!
A week from today, I will turn 60. I'm still not old.
Welcome to 60, my birthday was in January. I am the same way. Am I really old? And then I realize I must be
I agree with the "age is just a number" people. I know 40-year-olds who are old and I know 70-year-olds who can rave with the best.
When the kids at work who are half my age bitch about being old, I tell them to STFU. I'm not old yet, even if my back sometimes tries to tell me otherwise.
After my wife took off with my daughter and filed for divorce. I went grey after that.
That sucks
Yeah. It really did. @Rudy1962
Wow, I just read your profile and at 45 , you consider yourself old?
@Redcupcoffee Touché.
I'm 52, and I still haven't realized it. Hopefully I never will!
I am afraid that you will at some point in your aging process. Growing old is not the problem. The complications along the way are.
