As a male member of my human family, I have had relationships, and will continue to have relationships, with ALL female members of my human family.

I know a lot of people who married or long term dating with a person of a different ethnicity. In my city, I see lots of mixed couples. I have had good dating experiences with guys of different races. Choose who you like and trust. Live and let live.

I'm white. I was married for 30 years to a black man and we raised four kids together. Our marriage ended, not because of race, but because we grew apart and wanted different things. He was the love of my life, but that part of my life is done. I date occasionally, and when I do, race is not an issue.

When women tell me, "I only date black men." or "I don't like Mexican men." I tell them this...You are short-changing yourself. There are so many men out there who are so wonderful, and smart, and kind. I like men. I enjoy talking to men and spending time with them. Race, color, even religious beliefs don't matter much to me. I do draw the line at bible-thumpers and Trump supporters.

I don't have a problem with race, in fact I have dated a few black guys. As long as they treat you right is what matters.

I'm all about the swirl! As long as everyone is being treated right and are of consenting age, as someone else mentioned. My boyfriend is white and we have fun with all the dirty jokes about swirling. With metaphors like brown sugar, milk chocolate, white chocolate, cream, vanilla, cocoa etc, there's a lot of dirty levity to be found! It's pretty fun.

We could all blow Sunshine out of our ass and say that love is love and that it doesn't matter. But when it comes to our personal preferences about relationships, to some, race does matter and it should. I certainly would not call an African American male who says that he adores, and will only date strong African American women racist. relationships are difficult because that's the nature of the Beast. When you take a relationship and you injected with cultural differences, it can become even more difficultr.. some black men do not find white females physically attractive and vice versa. I think it's unfair to label a person's personal preferences racist. We're all free to make choices, and we should be able to be free without being judged either way
