Because trump and white supremacists are the democrats target and it is politically judicious to try and make trump look bad.
This is not to defend trump - but to point out the stupidity of such an easily diverted and defended attack Trump has only to point to the facts above and state the obvious, few coloured people are white supremacists

It is people who feel disenchanted with their life who go out and kill in this way - that feeling has many root causes. - but if none had access to guns, their effect would be less.

Maybe because of the manifestos they leave behind.

The awful painful fact is that human beings are dead because other humans shot them. Usually when people do this it is because they have lost loci of control and feel disenfranchaised. Sometimes the mass killings are a well documented form of self harm or suicide. (Killing loved ones or knowing you will be killed by acting thus) Sometimes young men, usually white, virtually always men become overwhelmed by their experiences, misinterpret news stories or look for confirmation bias in certain situations. If this is confirmed by certain individuals, particularly in positions of power and influence, these young men believe they have permission to act in extremely violent ways. We have the same young men in UK. The difference is one thing and one thing only...we don't have guns.

thank you for one of the few lucid comments on this subject

What's your point -- that some shootings are ok because they involve blacks?

I have some more questions:

As asked below, what are your sources?
How many of those pictured knew their victims vs how many chose their victims by prejudice via skin color or religion or whatever?
How many were gun-related -- how much shorter would a similar list have been if weapons were less prevalent in our country?
How many high-capacity, rapid-fire weapons are owned by minorities vs white supremacists in our country?

This link provides a list of the mass shootings since 1982 in the USA that stemmed from "rampages" and excludes gang violence and other crime related shootings. It just lists the incidents where 3 or more people were killed, so that leaves out any cases where many people were injured but less than 3 people died.
[motherjones.com]

The table has a column that lists the race of the shooter and it shows that:
65 of the 114 shooters were White (all but one were Male)
42 of 62 shooters who killed six or more people were White (1 was female)
23 of 35 shooters who killed eight or more people were White
8 of 10 shooters who killed 15 or more people were White (the Orlando and Virginia Tech shooters were not white).

Below is a table that provides a complete summary.

So a litle more than 50% of shootersare white, but they were more effective at killing - is that because they were better trained shooters, better shots, chose more crowded target areas or used different type of weapon - be interesting to know

@ShadowAmicus Based on the data that is shown on that site it looks like those shooters either had semi-automatic assault rifles or multiple firearms that they used to kill more people.

@ATDayHiker but that doesn't explain why the white guys, on average, killed more people

There have been 250 mass shootings so far. Why are there only 98 in this picture?

Snopes has done a fairly comprehensive investigation into this claim - [snopes.com]

@GodlessMimi No, they don't but I'm going to shove their ignorant faces in it all the same.

I am not a fan of the OP's politics, but this is either a willing attempt at a strawman argument or just a misunderstanding of the OP. Nowhere in the OP does it state anything about single and mass shootings by Democrats or left wingers over the history of the U.S. The OP is solely about the race of the mass shooters in 2019 and whether or not they seem to be white supremacists, and it shows that most of the shooters are black. Now I don't know if the OP is true or if it's cherry picked information, but your post isn't exactly accurate for this discussion either.

@Piece2YourPuzzle The OP is a closed-minded conservative whose intention is to try to impugn liberals as equally responsible for the epidemic of mass shootings that are predominantly committed by hard right conservatives. The specifics of this one argument are secondary to that intent.

Most shootings by black/coloured shooters are gang related and their victims are from the same background. If you deduct them from the above gallery, you will be left with the white supremacists and just generally disgruntled whites with a chip on their shoulders. There is evidence that the latest shooter was indeed a white supremacist because he left his manifesto on the Internet. It isn’t liberals who are asserting this, it’s law enforcement agencies.

@LimitedLight sadly.

According to what I’ve read the El Paso shooter was a environmental extremist with many prior problems and the Ohio shooter was a left wing Elizabeth Warren supporter.

Actually the Ohio shooter was a liberal Democrat!

@zesty He was still a white disgruntled male....who said anything about who he voted for? The original poster was making a pint about colour...was she not.

@Marionville The poster mentions white supremacists. The Ohio shooter was connected to Antifa. Let's don't forget this fact!

The El Paso shooter wrote a manifesto that used all the common phrases used by Trump tweets. He used better spelling and grammer than Trump. Go figure.

I'd like to see what this meme would look like if the bar was raised to ten people or more, with or without a manifesto. Sadly, it isn't all that uncommon for the mass murder to be a disgruntled employee. BTW, what's a gruntled employee? The one without the gun?

Absent: women, unless they're that ugly looking.

@LimitedLight When you're right, you're right.

Did you see any other women?

Please cite your source, I could only find your poster on Truly Times and 4chan. I like to make sure info comes from reliable sources, just like an essay in school. This would fail as evidence to be used to prove your point in any high school assignment.

They're 3 or more types of mass killings. It depends on motive. For example, gang violence, hate, personal reasons, just plain loonies. What I find Unfortunate about this post is the division between "liberals" & "white supremacists." Are you saying by your definition that "conservatives" welcome "white supremacists" into their fold? What does that have to do with "conservative" principles, at least the one's I understand.

2

I agree with this argument. There are all kinds of shooters, not just white - let alone white supremacists.

2

Excellent point! But the PCers on here will give you hell for it!

I warned him..... ☝️🤨

Because they’re doing some of them? /thread

What about the shooters that were killed instead of arrested? How does the makeup look as you raise the kill count to a higher number?

I believe "4 or more" is the definition of a mass shooting. Upping the score requirement would be disingenuous. How's about lowering it to "1 or more"?

@bigpawbullets I’m not much concerned with the different uses of the label ‘mass shooting’. It’s just a question that I’m honestly curious about.

@indirect76
A graph would be interesting.
Number of victims to race? X & Y axis?

@bigpawbullets >I believe "4 or more" is the definition of a mass shooting.

Hokey Smokes Bullwinkle! You're using the phrase "I believe" in a group of disbelievers? Belief doesn't make it so. Cite your sources! Rotate your frogs!

@WonderWartHog99 No need to cite a source when what label you use does not really matter anyway.

@WonderWartHog99
Bullwinkle!!?? How old are you? I thought I was the only one here who might remember "Moose & Squirrel".....
Do your own research if you question that.
👌🤨

@bigpawbullets I remember the moose, squirrel & their Russian antagonists.

@bigpawbullets The Rocky and Bullwinkle is in endless repeats. In 2000, they released the live action/cartoon movie. It was a flop but anyway, see:

Cartoons stay in repeats forever including Rick and Morty. Somewhere on the planet they're playing I love Lucy. I've been catching up on internet video channels.

How old am I? In dog years, I'm dead.

@indirect76 No need to cite a source when what label you use does not really matter anyway.

Why not just say you made it on the spot and the frogs stayed put no matter what you did.?

@indirect76 >I remember the moose, squirrel & their Russian antagonists.

It was a serialized variety show with a huge list of characters some of which spun off into movies. Peabody's Improbable History was one such example. (Released as a movie in 2014). I especially loved the premise of a dog who adopted a boy instead of the other way around. They were time travelers, changing history as they went with the line "Sherman, set the way back machine for . . . . "

You'd forget Snidely Whiplash who sometimes lapsed into psychological self-evaluation for tying Neil Finwick to the RR tracks.

Besides the puns, what endeared me was the punch lines aimed at the adults.
