If you are someone who works every day, how long does it take for you to get ready in the morning? It takes me almost exactly 15 minutes, but my wife gets up 45 minutes before me and she's still in the bathroom when I leave for work.
Just out of curiosity. I was wondering if my wife and I are the norm.
"Can you be here at 8:30 a.m.?" the man who manicures my nails called today. I had 25 minutes. Ten minutes of driving.
So I took a 5-minute shower. Lotion all over body. Brushed teeth. Jumped into clothes. Did a quick swipe with makeup (brows, powder nose, lipstick). Grabbed a Cliff bar to eat in the car.
I was out the door in 12 minutes.
Get up drink coffee watch tv news ... for as long as time allows
pull on undies, leggings, t shirt, maybe sweat shirt - walk 30 yards and start work at 7am (now) ... shower eat breakfast etc after first session done - about 9am
I am now retired, but when I worked, after I had breakfasted and cleared away the breakfast dishes etc., I then could bathe, dress, brush teeth, apply make up and style hair, then tidy bathroom and make bed, all in 15 to 20 minutes, and I’m female.
It depends on how you define "getting ready in the morning."
Shower, get dressed, make coffee, prepare and eat breakfast, clean up kitchen, pack lunch, brush teeth, apply makeup and style hair?
It also depends on what you plan to do. Getting ready for a long hike takes more time than dashing out to run an errand.
Oh, you clean up the kitchen after breakfast.
