Schiff? Prosecuted? You don't prosecute people over bullshit statements made by a the mob.

2

Prosecute the guy with the most lies.....

No link....with are you saying, that 2 wrongs (okay, about 1,00 wrongs by drumpy) would make this cesspool of corruption in the WH go away? Shame on you, you know better than That!

Ahhh, classic whataboutery. Tell me, what shit thing had Schiff done that makes what Trump has done magically less shit?

Ahhh, more projection, and within one sentence. Good job. 🙄

@Captain_Feelgood I think you're getting projection and self identification mixed up, and avoiding answering the question. Even if Schiff has done something illegal, how would that make anything Trump has done any less illegal?

@MrBeelzeebubbles what MrB said!

@MrBeelzeebubbles The question is about Schiff... that's all... No ''Whataboutery'' to it, just asking what should happen, if anything, to Schiff.. YOU are the one TRYING to bring Trump into it,, not me!!! So who here is playing the "Whataboutery" card? YOU! Hence the projection. Like I told someone else here, I'm amazed Dems aren't calling for his head on a platter, after all these years of telling you he had the goods to get Trump impeached, and now has been proven not to have jack shit on him.. But hey, you go ahead and keep hoping someone will find something someday.. 🙄👌

@Captain_Feelgood noticed you still didn't answer the question. Keep on wriggling, little man.

@Captain_Feelgood "jack shit".....missed the live feed from the WH lawn, did ya? Where shitferbrains. Not only recapped calling on Ukraine to investigate Biden, but also asked China to do so. China has declined already. Because they clearly understand the English language & intent of SFBrains better than you......

@MrBeelzeebubbles Little man??? BWAAAHAHAHA... 😆😂 Funny. You know you've lost when you have to resort to ad hominems.. Good job there, MrB.. And if you would pay attention, I've answered your question, more than once. He lied to everybody, on purpose. I think we're done here.. Have a good one. 😎👍

@Captain_Feelgood ... And STILL no answer. Wriggle, wriggle, wriggle.
Ok, even if Schiff was evil incarnate, how does it make Trump attempting to blackmail a foreign government into digging up dirt on an election rival any less dodgy? This is the question you still haven't answered.

@MrBeelzeebubbles AHH.. This is just how Liberals love to spin things.. He didn't blackmail anyone. There was no quid pro quo offer.. This is the point of me asking in the first place.. Schiff made up his own version of the phone call making it sound like Trump was doing that, and he later had to explain that that was what he had just done.. You do understand Trump didn't tell him "I'm going to only tell you this 7 more times... I want you to dig up as much trash on him as you can..." right? You know this, right? That whole spiel was made up by Schiff, and he admits it..

Trump has said repeatedly he doesn't care about Biden's politics. He is the President, and asked the Ukraine to re-open an investigation of corruption.. An investigation that Ukraine opened while Obama was in office, and Biden was the VP. He doesn't care if it is Biden or the man in the moon who perpetuated said corruption. The original investigation wasn't even about Joe Biden to begin with, but Joe knew if they continued, it would be bad for his son, Hunter. That's why Joe told Ukraine to fire the investigator, or lose the billion dollars. Joe bragged about it. Have you not seen this? Do you even care?

Trump said he doesn't even think Biden will win the Dem nomination.. It's the Presidents job to question peoples actions, and request investigations when appropriate. Are you suggesting it was appropriate for VP Biden to use a US loan of a billion dollars as leverage to make Ukraine dismiss their investigation of a company, a company that just happen to be paying his son Hunter a half a million dollars a year? That's called extortion! Why is that not important to you? And yes, that's a rhetorical question.. I know why it isn't, you suffer from TDS, and you really don't care about facts or reality anymore.

I really do hope you get some help with that.. I don't think there's anything I, or anyone else for that matter, could say to get you, or Ms Anne.. here, to understand what is going on.. You've been brainwashed to the point that reality means nothing anymore.. I really do hope you two get some help. I'm done here. You can respond if you want, but I won't see it. Have a good one.. 😒👌

@Captain_Feelgood you're backing up your point with a clip from RT?! See, this is why conservatives completely lack credibility. By the way, nice flounce, darling.

3

Nice try, troll.

Wait a second... This is my post, but somehow I'm the Troll? Project much?.. 🤣🙄😂 Dude, you aren't even smart enough to give time to... I'm going to stop here and let you ponder this situation a little, and I can only HOPE that one day, you'll be able to see how stupid your comment there is. Good luck with that..

1

For what exactly?

Ooooh,, I don't know... Perhaps lying,, to pretty much everybody. The guy is in charge of the intel department, and he get's caught lying all the time.. Even Pelosi is rethinking him being on their team.. If you don't know these things, you should get out more.. Or stop watching MSM all the time. They never tell you the whole story.. The funny thing to me is that Trump even set him up, and he was so stupid, he fell for it.. It just doesn't get any better than that.. 🤣😜😂

@Captain_Feelgood I'm looking for one concrete example, not a "lies all the time".

If you're talking about the whistleblower contacting the intelligence committee, and then trump alleging that Schiff helped write the complaint- then explain away the existence of the phone call. It's the phone call to Ukraine, not the complaint, that's at issue here.

@Paul4747 Rep. Adam Schiff lied about having prior contact with the whistle-blower in the Trump-Ukraine matter. Originally, Schiff claimed “we” (i.e. Congress and his staff) had no contact. That never added up because Schiff tweeted out some of the contents of the complaint weeks before he was supposed to know about.

Now we know why. The whistle-blower went to a Congressional aide first, who told Schiff of the issue. That led to legal advice being passed back down the chain. Whether there was further coordination in actually formulating the complaint, we don’t know yet (you can bet that happened though). What we do know is that Schiff lied and that he did have advanced knowledge to help him strategically roll all this nonsense out.

Never fear though. Our media betters are here to let us know that none of that matters. After years of pushing process as the be all, end all against Trump (see the obstruction freak outs), it’s suddenly no big deal if Adam Schiff lies to their faces.

Enter Sam Stein, who I’m assured is an unbiased “reporter.”
Someone’s being a hack here and it’s not those who are calling out Schiff.

I’m pretty well convinced that there’s nothing a Democrat can do that will get the media to turn against them. Schiff spent the last two years lying to their faces about having evidence of Russian collusion while appearing on every Sunday show weekly. Not once have any of those hosts pushed back after it became clear he was making it all up.

Schiff does it again, lying directly to their faces about not having prior knowledge and contact with the whistle-blower and what’s the response? It’s that you are a hack for caring. It’s laughable.

Further, Stein shows his partisanship even more by even pretending there’s anything of substance in that whistle-blower report to “care more about.” We’ve seen the transcript. We’ve seen the complaint. Trump did not offer a quid pro quo, he did not threaten aid, and he did not pressure Zelensky. Past that, we found out the call was stored on a system setup after two major leaks of foreign phone calls back in 2017. There was no cover-up and nothing special done with this specific call.

There’s nothing left here. Democrats are too far gone down the road of impeachment and they will keep going, but you’d hope the media would be honest enough to admit they overstepped. But nope, they are going to double down and call people hacks for caring that a Democrat committee chairman lied. Makes sense.

@Captain_Feelgood
Gotcha. Whether a Democrat had prior contact with a whistleblower (knowledge that could potentially be put together to out said confidential whistleblower, by the way, something Trump has stated publicly he wants to do, along with the right wing calling him/her a "traitor", and considering it may be someone in the intelligence community might well cost them their career)- that's the issue, not whether a President of the United States tried to get a foreign government to dig up political dirt on a rival; something Trump already and unapologetically has admitted. Not only unapologetically, but cheerfully. Shit, we knew this in 2016, when he was cheering for Wikileaks ("a wholly owned subsidiary of the FSB" ) to leak the DNC emails. But that was as a private citizen. Now it's with the ability to hold up $400 million in military aid dollars, which he did. Trump boasted that he has the unfettered right to ask a foreign government to dig up dirt on his domestic political rivals. This can't be said enough.

Ask yourself the question: if President Obama or Secretary of State Clinton had asked Putin for information about Trump's building permits in 2015, when his hat was in the ring as a Republican candidate, would you have been saying "There's nothing there?" Or would you have been screaming about the dirty tricks they were playing? I already know the answer, but I doubt you can be honest enough with yourself to admit you would have been screaming, along with the rest of the Republican party.

You have a cult of personality where, even though Trump tells 12 lies a day, 1 lie by a Democrat (which, as I read it, may have been to prtect the whistleblower) is damning beyond belief and exonerates Trump completely. Your guy? He sickens me.

@Captain_Feelgood
So you are going to say "lying about everything" as the basis for your case against Schiff? No evidence, substance, or facts. Ok, I can work with that and enlighten you.

You also do have his role correct in the "Intel department" as no such department exists. The closest thing to it is the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), which is appointed by the president (they have an acting one at the moment, as is tradition with this admin). The DNI refused to follow the law at the behest of the president. It took the IG to notify Congress, which is when Schiff was first alerted to a problem, not the details.

Here's the timeline if you are interested in how the laws of the land were broken by the "law and order" president and the "party of personal responsibility" Republicans: [www-m.cnn.com]

@dokala Haaahaha... you're going to send me a link to CNN for something?? Now that's rich.. 😂🤣 Good try though.

@Captain_Feelgood
Ah, the dicredit the new media approach. You might as well stick your fingers in your ears and scream la la la la la. This is why you remain ignorant and maintain views. The facts don't change just because you don't like the new source. In fact, CNN isn't the source of that timeline because it's the actual timeline.

You still can't rebute my comment, especially the Intel Dept and what Schiff did. You have nothing, believe based on emotion and ideology that you were conned into following, and can't keep your story straight. This is why Trump and the GOP have to hire foreigners, gerrymander, suppress votee, and commit election fraud to win. Good job, you got played.

@Paul4747, @dokala, @Captain_Feelgood grasping at the slippery planks of the sinking ship....so sad.......

@dokala, The problem with that is that Trump only told Ukraine they may want to go back and restart their investigation on Hunter Biden. You know, the investigation Hunter's daddy, Joe, made sure was shut down by threat of holding back money promised to them by Obama.. I'm sure you've heard all about it, seen the video of Joe bragging about it..

That's a far cry from asking them to dig stuff up on Joe.. Now, the fact that Joe threatened to withhold the billion dollars if they didn't fire the guy is a side issue. And yeah, it's not going to help Joe's campaign, I admit, but it's not Joe that Trump is telling Ukraine to investigate.. That's just icing on the cake. 😎👍

@dokala Mmm... I don't think so. We'll see how it plays out. 😎👍

@Captain_Feelgood
Ah, the RT angle. You got played again. You want this to be true and they know that so they create it, play it, and collect ad revenue because you watch it like a predictable chump.

@dokala It's not so much that I want it to be true, it just is. The facts laid out on the table show it. Schiff lied to you all and you fell for it like a predictable chump.. It amazes me why the Democrats aren't screaming for his head on a platter. But I guess that's just how you roll. So sad.. 😞🙄

@Captain_Feelgood
Ah, the "I know you are, but what am I" tactic while using the same words. Should you rebrand your username to Melania?
Schiff did nothing wrong despite your feeble attempt to shift blame. Your source is not credible and you are using that word "facts" as if you're familiar with the term.
Honestly, you should stand outside of Butina's jail with a sign saying she did nothing wrong. I bet RT will cover it and place a caption under your name as a subject matter expert. The subject won't matter either.

@Captain_Feelgood and wait! Another Wh8steblower is in the wings! And I'll bet hard cash there will soon be 3 or 4......

Whatever for? Trump committed the crime.

5

Ah, yes, the typical redirect with zero substance in the hopes the real crimes of your guy go unnoticed. Guess what, everyone is focused on Trump's crimes.

3

For what? Trump was the actual whistleblower as he now admits to asking foreign powers for help in the news media. The offense is that a sitting POTUS cannot do this and his desire of "help" would involve a potential candidate running against him in 2020. Nobody seems to get this fact and understand it as illegal. When POTUS does this it is against the law. It does not apply to other people.

Now on to Schiff. If he did not do the right thing legally with this whistleblower thing, or if the whistleblower rules have suddenly changed, etc. it does not matter. Trump now admits what he had asked for. If Schiff himself was the real whistleblower it does not matter. We are at the stage of this to where Donald Trump blew the whistle on himself by admission and he wants us to think that it is alright. The problem is that it is not alright. A sitting POTUS cannot do this. Other people, yes. POTUS no.

Interesting... Why is it okay for other people?

@Captain_Feelgood Mostly because other people are not running for re-election as president. A sitting president cannot ask a foreign power to investigate his opposition. Nobody seems to get this. It's all TDS in reverse.

1

Yes he needs to be persecuted.

That's already being done, but you aren't self aware enough to know how words matter.

Where's your boy, spiketalon? We never see his whale spunk articles in the main forum.

You clowns click and watch stuff that is geared to selling ads. You are the product, not the consumer. And you fall for it each and every time. Remain ignorant and misinformed. Congrats, you are regularly getting played by people making money off of you.
