TRY THIS...
A FB friend from on here sent me a bs fundamental Christian blog and challenged me to have a go at them for a change. What follows is the only part of the actual piece of crap he posted that could be possibly verified and my subsequent exchanges.

Country Parson Ministries

"Of course, the skeptics and scoffers will say this is just another ‘fairy tale’ and myth. However, Paleontologists have unearthed some human skeletons that measure from bottom of heel to top of skull up to 13’ tall. I have seen and handled for myself a thigh bone from such a find that was nearly 4’ long. It was totally authentic, and I have a photo of this human thigh bone which had one end on the floor and the other at just about the belt line of the man posing with it. That was no mythological bone! It remains on display in a museum in Montana, available for scrutiny by anyone willing to pursue “substance and evidence” corroborating their faith!"
So I sent this to the guy ..
"You are full of shit like your talking snake book. Here is what I read when I looked up your "totally authentic" giant thigh bone from the very museum sited "“It is true that I sculpted a femur 47-1/2 (120 cm) based on a report in a newsletter where it was reported on by the construction engineer who found it and other skeletons the same height. I was commissioned to sculpt the femur so a college professor could show his students how large it was. I molded it and sent him a cast. I then cast one for my museum and mounted it over a drawing of a skeleton the same size. A femur of a an ancient human was used as the guide for the sculpture. In every instance, I have told others that it is JUST A SCULPTURE." No wonder you idiots voted for a reality TV star if they believe shit like this"
"No, come back? I knew that you would not have the guts or intellect to. But I bet you will still be sending out the same bs that you know to be a lie. THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS"
His reply ---Sorry, but this blog was never intended as a forum for debate. But I will respond because your information is completely unattached to the thing I referenced. The paleontologist I was referring to is the curator of the dinosaur, fossil museum in Glendive
Me---Oh no it was not. Let us look again at what you actually say..."Of course, the skeptics and scoffers will say this is just another ‘fairy tale’ and myth. However, Paleontologists have unearthed some human skeletons that measure from bottom of heel to top of skull up to 13’ tall. I have seen and handled for myself a thigh bone from such a find that was nearly 4’ long. That was no mythological bone! It remains on display in a museum in Montana, available for scrutiny by anyone willing to pursue “substance and evidence” corroborating their faith!" At no time do you mention that it is a sculpture of a bone? In fact, let us re-examine what you do say " I have seen and handled for myself a thigh bone" I have pictures of dragons and mermaids. Does that make them real? This is lies and hogwash that would not past muster into a P T Barnum sideshow.
Him --Montana, and his name is Otis Kline (or Cline). He is a respected paleontologist and has a close connection with the noted Jack Horner from the Nuseum of the Rockies at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. Otis invites any who wish to join him each summer in fossil digs, and to ask all the questions they, and he is very courteous and cordial and kind, even to those who are skeptics. Jack Horner will.corroborate all of this and more. He will also confirm the finding of a T-Rex that still had soft tissue and some other tissue that was still elastic. Otis and Jack have discussed this matter together.
Him again ---The fact is that Jack Horner has also seen and handled the same bone, and said he was satisfied it was authentic. Feel free to contact him, or Otis
Me---Yes I looked up the giant thigh bone in the Museum of Montana and his name came up. That does nothing to address YOUR statement of FACT. That this was a real thigh bone that you handled. I repeat again " I have seen and handled for myself a thigh bone" Not I have handled a sculpture of a thigh bone. If you were to swear on the bible in a court of law what you put out on your blog? You would be guilty of perjury. In other words, false witness!
Him -- Well, sir, you may be absolutely correct, but when I was there and saw it and handled it, I was not told at that time it was sculptured ---You have my genuine and sincere apology for not knowing, hence not relating that. I will print a correction if necessary, but will also print that it was, at the least, a representation of something that is authentic and legitimate ---Both Otis and Jack will corroborate that it at least represents an authentic giant human femur.
Me ---Sir, I find that very hard to believe as the website clearly states in big bold capital letters that it is a sculpture and that the man also states that he tells everyone that visits this. However, I am not an unreasonable man and if you put this apology online where everyone who read the original post can view it. Plus you send me a link to said apology I will accept that.

Maybe alien-human hybrid sculpture.

But the smart money is on what it literally is...... A fabrication!

@273kelvin A fabricated sculpture!

@Storm1752 Yes this is the lie I caught him out on.

They just can't listen to reason. :/

That should not silence us. We have a duty to give them light

@273kelvin Have you ever successfully convinced a "believer" against their beliefs?

@Gawd I have shifted them a little. There is a very nice lady who did the straight line Christian anti-gay thing with me. I kinda knew that she was just toeing the party line bc she was a heart a caring person. So I asked he if her god loved all his children or just the straight ones? I think that she was glad of the excuse not to hate.

@273kelvin That certainly counts as a win. 🙂

Cont.....Me---It gets better. Following your previous msgs I looked up Jack Horner and he is a very respected paleontologist. I also looked up Otis Kline and his Glendive Dinosaur and Fossil Museum. Here is what Jack Horner is quoted in Wikipedia saying about it "It's not a science museum at all...it's not a pseudo-science museum…There's nothing scientific about it." Healy, Donna (October 18, 2009). "Dinosaur museum presents biblical view of origins". The Billings Gazette. Retrieved 28 May 2017.

Me again ---Oh what a dangled web we weave. When we practice to deceive

@273kelvin Don't get me wrong though, I still engage in debate.

"And there were giants in th earth in those days." The implication at the time of that OT writing might have you believe that giants were once common but not common at the time of the writing. There are always those of faith who want to stretch things so as to appear strengthening their faith. In other words, it's a lie. They just keep making it up!

The giants that he is referring to, is the mythical pre-Noah ones. There were many other "proofs" that he offered to other biblical myths but they were all hearsay. This was the only checkable fact in the blog and as you see it was a quite literal fabrication.

I think the rumor of giantaism has been stretched to the limit. The glandular malfunctions were not able to be treated back then. They didn't know what a thyroid was.

Considering that through archaeological studies, etc, the average height of humans from around the time when Homo Sapiens first evolved until around the late Middle Ages was between 5' 3" and 5' 10" and persons taller than that WERE consider to be 'giants' the possibility of anything REMOTELY human being over 10' in height would be more remote than the very edge of the Universe is to this planet.
Scientifically and Medically speaking here, Yes, we do find the very RARE and ODD human being these days growing to heights of 6'5" and up to and including 7' 4" but they are A RARITY, it IS only because of the readily availability of more nutritious foods, etc, that the average human height has gone above the 5'10" average of older times since better care and nutrition = larger body sizes and heights.
Ergo, these 'giants' of which the Faithfools regularly cite as having lived in biblical times and 'claimed (?)' to have unearthed the skeletal remains of are about as plausible as are their tales of talking snakes and a whale swallowing a human whole and regurgitating him ALIVE and undamaged 3 days or so later.

The giants that he is referring to, is the mythical pre-Noah ones. There were many other "proofs" that he offered to other biblical myths but they were all hearsay. This was the only checkable fact in the blog and as you see it was a quite literal fabrication.

@273kelvin Is not the entire bible merely composed of hearsay tales?

@Triphid Yes of course but his were modern-day ones like "I met a guy that showed me a photograph" or "He assured me that".

@273kelvin Still nothing more than hearsay imo, and had there been cameras/photographs of these 'giants' being buried back in 'biblical times (LOL)' I would still doubt them 100%.

@Triphid The Photographs were in reference to someone he allegedly had an image of Noah's arc. As if that were the case, Christian organizations would not be falling over themselves to mount archeological expeditions to reveal "the truth".
The problem with these scoundrels is the poor gullible souls that take them at face value. There are good Christian people of faith and ministers that serve the community with charity and honor. This man is not one of them. Not only that but this kind of deception is polluting and perverting your education system. So it is far from a victimless crime.
The point of my humorous post was a call to arms to members of this site. We can and should (if we have the time) confront these falsehoods publicly, whenever we can.

That was a fun read.
Well done!

I concur.
