How are you gonna spend Easter Sunday?
Probably on my back. It's been out for a couple of weeks, and it’s kind of killing me.
I'll wake up with a resurrection and finish with a second coming.
I'll be sending you another bill for damages caused due to raucous laughter.
Meh
Same thing I do every Sunday, Pinky, try to take over the world!
I would love to see a "Pinky and the Brain" and "Invader Zim" crossover.
That is always the first thought through my head!
Easter Sunday? Okay, I get that it's on Sunday, but which Sunday? How is it, whatever it is, of any importance to me? Do I have to wear special clothes, or is casual okay?
This year , it's on April first , no joking !
I probably won't even know when it is, as it's not celebrated in Thailand
Yes, Christmas and Easter pass there without comment, as I remember. So great.
I'm thinking of going to see the film The Death of Stalin, which has just opened in Canberra. Hilarious, because I saw it twice last year in London. If you like The Thick of It, or In the Loop, definitely worth a see. Oh, and yay for the resurrected Christ and all that.
Stalin was poisoned. A type of rat poison in his wine.
I'm gonna wait for that bunny chicken...I need to know...NEED TO KNOW!!!...does it taste like bunny? OR DOES IT TASTE LIKE CHICKEN LIKE EVERY THING ELSE! This is science, here, people. And should the zombie jesus show up, I hope he is a slow zombie, and not one of them speedy ones...I'll tie him to a treadmill, hang what's left of the bunny chicken carcass on a stick in front of him, hook the treadmill up to a battery, and see how much juice I can get...other than that, nothing much....what are you doing?
Paint my driveway.
Are you gonna paint your driveway?
Go out on the boat with my grandson, then dinner at a restaurant with the rest of the family. How are you going to spend yours ?
We plan on going out to eat for dinner, and then going to see Ready Player One. Family time, just like every Sunday.
Working! And not by choice... But usually, I would do the non-religious celebrations: dinner with family, games and treats for kids. Just leaving Jesus out of it.
Easter has good times, far too many bloody tourists arriving to be able to surf, so just after dawn, walk down the beach and swim home, depends on how many people here as to what happens next. There have been some suggestions I effect the 2nd coming at the local markets that day.
I might walk up to a nearby outdoor restaurant for breakfast. Most restaurants here have a special brunch menu on the holidays. Then I'll probably take a nap on a secluded beach if the weather is good - but it's supposed to rain - so then I'll probably try to finish my taxes.
Easter Sunday? Watching "The Walking Dead" with some Carlo Rossi jug burgundy, some Great Value bulk cheddar cheese, and some Utz sourdough pretzels. And maybe some of that Romanoff black lumpfish supermarket caviar. Yes, I have expensive tastes.
Now, Easter Monday is a different proposition. That is when the Easter candy starts selling at 1/2 off. I plan on loading up then; those chocolate bunnies are great melted down and used in cooking. I just wish they'd make chocolate Jesuses: microwaving them and watching them melt would be loads of extra special fun.
Working on my new e-commerce store Still learning all this new- e-platform bits.
If the weather is fine we were expecting snow now looks like is turning to heavy rain Is already raining here now -would cycle on the beach front, read some books ,watch some movies on the you tube and oh yeah be on the platform reading and replying and making new friends here
I'll start the day by reading and posting on social media and watching news on TV, walking a mile, grub out a half dozen or so mesquite trees, do the morning chores and water plants, work in the shop for three hours, have lunch, maybe a nap and/or read a few hours, back on the computer to do some work and play on social media, work outside on the solar generator weather pemitting for several hours, do chores again, take my ease and have a buttered rum for an hour or so outside again weather permitting, have supper of either lentils or a green salad, another buttered rum, get on the computer again with the TV on watching news, science shows or DI, have another buttered rum, go to bed. 8)
I would really like to do nothing. I've been dreaming of doing just that all week. But I may put on my best zombie attire and attend a family dinner.
