I decided that I won't even vote in the presidential primary because I don't care which Democrat gets the nomination. I am voting for whichever one wins the nomination.

I'm also going to spend all my limited political donations on senate candidates. Not just Oklahoma candidates but any place I think we can flip a seat. Getting rid of trump is far from our only problem.

@athena Bernie is not any kind of shoe-in against Trump, especially as long as the voting processes are undermined. He does not have significant minority support, and that is a requisite. Trump will trot out all Bernie's Communist associations from his early years (as absurd as that is given Trump's loyalty to Putin). His MAGgots will still eat it up. Look at how his support in NH whithered 20% compared to 2016. Bernie simply cannot gather wide support nationally in the face of what Trump is planning. Only those in cult-like thrall believe otherwise.

The view: I'll Only Vote for Bernie was a big part of how Trump won in 2016. Putin targeted Bernie supporters and they stayed home in droves (fell for it). Bernie supporters are being primed by Putin to do the same again. And the rest of the party does not like being extorted, again.

Any Dem candidate is better than Trump, and if Biden comes back, or Bloomberg or Steyer buy their way in, it is still : Any Dem candidate is better than Trump (If they can beat Trump). Bernie has been, and will be, way back down on the list of those best able to stop Trump.

Spending on Senate candidates is an excellent decision.

@Athena And... While Bernie certainly has a lot of energy and charisma for some folks, he comes off as profoundly obnoxious to most others, very much like Hillary. His main proposals are unworkable and dead-on-arrival, just like Warren's (As AOC admitted). Bernie (or Bloomberg) would have to work impossibly hard to get past the anti-Semitism prevalent among Black voters, just as Buttigieg would have to overcome the homophobia Blacks are known for (Look up how the Mormons used this to stop gay marriage in California in 2008).

Putin may well have already rigged the election for Trump.

Democrats need a landslide to undo Trump's damage, or even to demonstrably win. Even then, the People will have to march on the White House to force his removal. Let's hope we have a few generals left that are loyal to the Constitution.

And if by some miracle, the Democrats do win, what then? They still have to deal with the 45% of their fellow citizens who have sedition in their hearts, and are OK with outright treason if it comes from a Republican.

I donated to the ditch mitch campaign despite living in Florida.

I think he has done far more harm than Trump

that sounds like a plan. i have voted, myself, for warren as it happens, because i do believe some candidates are more to my liking and more in tune with my worldview than others, but like you, i will vote for whichever one gets the nomination. it's just that i want my little but important word to count about which one it is. and yes, everyone, please, the senate is paramount! mitch has got to go (let's unseat him while we're at it)! we need to get some house legislation voted on and passed. how many hundreds of good bills are now sitting on mitch's desk while he declares himself the grim reaper?

The way it is going, voting May your last right as a citizen of this country!!!

hopefully a strong democrat or other party will win the primaries.Primaries may still be important. Trump has been telling his followers to vote in the primaries for a weak democrat that he can easily defeat.

... I never said that. It's fake news. I did not interfere with the stupid democrat primaries - they'd lose anyway cause I'm the greatest president ever...ever.
*Hey, Rudi. Can you fix this? Pay someone to dig the dirt on the editor, or something. Don't worry, I'll get you a pardon.**

Good thinking. Flip on?

If your main concern is removing Trump you should consider voting for the candidate who has the best shot at defeating him.

... or just vote for the best shot!! 🤣😂

@Petter

Word

@RoboGraham 9mm will do. More concise than words.

@Petter

I'd go with 7.62×51mm

@RoboGraham Save on coffin costs?

@RoboGraham Hey guys, this will not allow us to view the chaos of this idiot after he leaves office. It will be interesting to see who gets the first bite mat him and what happens. Then there are the others and who will defend him? He will not pay and will not be able to pay, will he need a public defender?

@dalefvictor Why waste tax dollars on him?

I don't care who's president because if we still keep the same senate we've got now we're still doomed.

@Lorajay How about a serious voting machine then? I believe Vickers made a good one.

@Lorajay The best way to flip the Senate is to nominate the best candidate with the most popular policies. People come out to vote for president and vote for down ballot races while they are at it. High turn out is essential.

If we don't have a good nominee, the Senate, and probably the white house as well, will remain controlled by the GOP. This is why voting in the primary is extremely important.

According to polls, some candidates are more likely to beat Trump than others.

Some candidates couldn't beat Trump even with the assistance of tens of billions of dollars.
