Hi, I'm a new member. Retired (live in Michigan) and spend a lot of time reading, crocheting, crafts, and watching good movies. I'm happy to have found this site. I've been reading the Humanist Magazine for over a year now and love it. I have a lot to ask and discuss which I'll be back later to do. Just want to say hi for now.

Are you familiar with the American Humanist Association? I found my people when I found my local chapter. Check for yours here: [americanhumanist.org] Welcome to Ag.com. I'm also a crocheter, crafter, reader, etc, and grandmother. That is THE BEST TITLE EVERl.

Thank you for introducing yourself, and welcome. Some, myself included, are not nearly so polite, and just dive right in ... Cheers!

Welcome to the site, nice to have you with us. We come from all over, and I don’t just mean all over the USA...some of us live on a different continent. I live in the U.K., in Northern Ireland in fact. Hope you settle in well and look forward to your contributions.

The simple jesture of introducing yourself. Is in my opinion. A genuine & friendly thing to do.
I like the term humanist. Although I'd tell a lie if I pretended to define the exact meaning. I'm going for a people person. Empathy & acceptance one of many qualities the humanist embodies.
WELCOME.. Their are many amazing people here . Nothing like Twitter. lol.😆

Welcome to the asylum.

I look forward to hearing what you have to say. 🙂

Welcome. I'm fairly new myself but I'm finding it a more diverse place than any atheist centric forums I've been on. There are many of us retired sorts here which is okay with me but I'm glad for a wider slice there too. I get my creative fix out in the garden but my wife is a weaver and I'm sure there are many crafters here.

Welcome!!!
Hopefully you will join the art and craft group and share some of your pieces. 🤗💕

Hi Claudia!

I love the The Humanist magazine too. In my opinion it is the smartest of the atheist periodicals. I also love FFRF's Freethought Today.

Welcome! Nice to meet you. 🙂

Thank You.

Hi from Johannesburg, South Africa. I am sure you'll enjoy humanist.com as much as I do.

I have to let you know I plait my hair like that sometimes. ...it's much easier and less bothersome than cutting it.

Humanists have grown beyond their Agmostic roots to fully welcoming Atheists Freethinkers Skeptics Eupraxophists Secularists Unitarians Objectivists Brights NONEs and those refusing all labels / polling
