@Robecology Hi! I just wanted to introduce you to @literatehiker. I have read your posts and her posts. Your profile and her's, seems to me like you both would be a perfect match! Check her out!

@ MichelleGar1

Nice try, as I said to my daughter.

@Robecology lives too far away. He's in Florida; I'm in Washington State.

@LiterateHiker Ah man! Maybe just a friendship then? You never know!

Hi Michelle, and Kathleen! Thanks for the "matchmaking attempt...but I'm by myself and cool with that. I see my kids who live 60 and 180 miles away...I live in a 55+ community and bike and/or swim every day. If you ever come to Florida, come hang with me...golf (9 hole par 3) within the campus, tennis, pool (swimming and indoor table) - come play!

@Robecology @lLiterateHiker I tried! Oh well! Hopefully a friendship at least!

Social Distancing ladies and gentlemen. It's important. It'll keep you and others safe.

It's a few more weeks that is the epic. Our finest hour. The 11th hour. After that its recovery.

I stopped going to the office the first week of March. I work with a bunch of Trump supporters, and they were all repeating fox(faux)news and Trump's lie about the virus is nothing but the common flu. I told him that I will see them when the flu has stopped killing people all over the world.

Staying safe here in Clearwater. 🙂

Hanging in, on the west coast!

Be safe and sane!

When any one is near make sure you are wearing a face mask, gloves, and eye protection always, remember six feet apart social distancing all of these can save your life👌!!!

You are only responsible for yourself and your family, better to shelter at home and use all the available protective equipment at your disposal!!!

Please use all your protective gear when ever outside and around others!!!

Flatten the curve!

(No, ladies, you don't have to flatten you own curves. Go ahead and display them in all their glory.)

It is not good news that the peak is estimated to be more than 30 days away. I wonder if those data are taking into consideration that the virus will not make its way into the senior living facilities.

djs64 Level 7 Apr 6, 2020

How do you figure it will not make its way into those facilities?

@AnneWimsey Sorry, I was not assuming that it would not. If it does get into those facilities, there will be more infections and higher mortality than in the general population.

@djs64 Until I moved to Florida, last year, I lived in a senior development in N.J., close to a number of the rush developments. I have been told that Covid-19 is in at least 2 of them. There is probably a good chance that it will get into my development, which is predominantly seniors, but no exclusively so.

@powder Sorry about your aunt. That's gotta hurt.

@powder I con't imagine. I'm so sorry. I hope you're able to "face-time" her at least?
