Trump orders houses of worship to open
That fucking POS, I don't much like churches - but he can't "order" them to do anything, they will open when they want. And he doesn't have the power to overrule all the state governors on something. Doesn't seem that long ago that conservatives were all about states rights first, remember? They seem to have suddenly forgotten that one. He says all these tough phrases like "I will override them", "they can call me but they will not be successful" and stuff like that to sound tough. Its just wolf whistles to his base. And in fact he has no such power even slightly, and for that matter - even the governors can't command the churches to open up, they can do whatever the hell they want to!
We know he is a cowardly, moronic, a-hole. But once he is gone, how are we going to treat the people who have continued to support him this long? It was excusable for a long time, but now its getting to where they simply can't be positive forces within our society at all. Should they just be shunned for the rest of their lives like an Amish castaway?

I agree, except the problem is - lots of them have already bred. Once a candidate has created spawn they are not qualified anymore. And, if they would just die quietly off on their own - fine, but they will wander around and infect more intelligent people too!
Trump believes he has total power and can order anything he likes. He is a moron that is surrounded by those who claim he is "The Chosen One." They are mostly batshit crazy. Trump can no more order a church to open than he can a jar of pickles. He is not magic in any way and he lies a lot.

He's just pandering to his hyper religious base so they think he's a devout xtian. All of the statements he's said about religion always sound so forced and fake that it amazes me they continue to buy it. Of course, they hear what they want, so let's all pretend the rich white guy is a good xtian.
And states' rights only matter when it's convenient for them, much like every other thing. Fuck the GOP.

Yes indeed, they are going to try to scam the vote - so it needs to be an overwhelming turnout, one too big for them to get away with cheating on. Of course then . . . things might get really interesting, I think he will refuse to step down. And that raises lots of weird possibilities from there on out. It won't be boring! 
@seenoevil9620 I agree, I think it will be messy but that he will get removed. I suspect he thinks the scattered hardcore fascist supporters he has in various positions of power can keep things moving his way. But the odd general and congressperson here and there won't stop it. But I also think he figures his "boogaloo bois" and other militia type supporters can keep him in office. They can't, but they could make the whole affair become very, very bloody. It would be a horror show.

It would be amazing to get him onstage for a debate or open Q&A about big questions, like theological and philosophical ones wouldn't it? Or . . . answering questions about anything really: history, the law, science, language, psychology, the arts - anything. We all know he would get torn apart by your average high school student.
@Observer-Effect You are kidding aren't you. The only way one would get him there is if one put a gun to his head, and while he was there he would have a heart attach from all those big questions he had to answer.
