Sudoku and couple of pages minimum from a book nightly.

Interesting perspective. Why is reading viewed as dull. I read more serious nonfiction than anyone I know, and yes, sometimes on Saturday night. How is sitting in a bar drinking tequila with a bunch of jocks, and I am a jock, any less dull. What did the man call the alleged POTUS, a XXucking moron. Rather be home with a book than hanging with an orange moron!

I have my shares of Saturday nights just sitting there reading a biography.

Doesn't sound dull to me. I have had trouble reading lately and have been watching documentaries. I think knowledgable/well read is attractive and impressive.

'Looks like we got us a Reader' to quote Bill Hicks.
Most of my friends are Readers too, probably because I don't like to go out on Saturday night and hang around with a bunch of people in a bar who are as dull as fuck.

That'll learn him to walk into a waffle house with a book. Ha!

I'll sit in with a good book any night of the week I take a book to a cafe with me so I can read and have a coffee and scone - I don't think that its me thats dull as fuck but other people who would want to chat to me whilst i am patently reading.

There is nothing more relaxing than to stay at home on a Saturday night and read a good book.

It's a rainy Saturday night in paradise, so I'm staying in, with the Merrie Monarch Hula Competition Festival on TV live, while scrolling posts here, and getting up to stand in awe at some of the amazing hula being performed by both the men's and women's groups. I love it!

Yes, but I never claimed to lead an exciting life.

Aparently we all are dull as fuck, so join the club.

I have always thought that 'dull as fuck' has been completely under-rated.

That's how I spent last night. So sorry, you are as boring as I am. Sad,

That's what I am doing. I used to be a partiesr too,so I have been there and done that. Reading a book on a Saturday night is a great thing to do. By the way,I have traded rock concerts for documentaries. It's called being content in life.

Saturday night and Sunday is usually the nights I take off. I don't read books with my eyeballs, but with my ear holes. I work a job where I'm by myself all day long. I also work 5 days, plus Saturday untill noon. I listen to books (and podcasts) all day long and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Reading a book is far better than watching television.

I usually sit in on a Saturday and watch a movie. This is assuming I'm not working.

After my 3 brain surgeries book out, but I do binge watch documentaries.

Wait! It's Saturday?! Wtf? I thought it was Friday? Awe snap. I forgot to look at my calendar again.

I write notes ot myself on my calendar and then forget to look at them or forget what day it is today, good job the computer knows!

@jacpod I looked on my calendar after reading this post.

Good books have been best friends of mine on lunch breaks and evenings for quite a few years. Maybe that makes two of us dull as fuck.

When I was young, I had to be out socializing and trying to find the perfect mate. Now that I’m older, staying home and reading, napping, or whatever is my preference.
