Biden 🤮
Trump worse by a factor of ten or more.
This election has me more disgusted than ever with the two party system. I have not voted for either in over 30 years. I desperately want to keep that going.
I would like to hear suggestions, thank you.

So if we don't like the 2 party system (I don't either) by not voting at this critical time we will be left with a 1 party system. Say goodbye to democracy.

VOTE, YOU IDIOT!
(On second thought, maybe it's better you don't.)
Biden rules.

Check yourself, and I always vote.

Trump 2020!!!

Keep up the good work, and I mean that sincerely. It's not people like you and me that are responsible for the disease that gave us Trump as the symptom, it's the selfish, comfortable, sheeple that started and kept voting for corporate Dems beginning in the 90s when the DLC began taking over the Dem party.

This goes back to that Shit face despicable Reagan, who gave us the Bushes and now the evil orange fascist. Has little to do with democrats. A vote for Trump is a literal vote against your own person and your family.

@Healthydoc70 Then you should be comfortable with Biden, if he wins. Like Reagan, Biden has dementia, but in Joe's case, it has clearly begun even before him becoming prez. Can't wait to see next week's debate prove this for all to see....And don't give me any of that bullshit about it all being just his stuttering problem...

Yes, I did block Healthydoc...

@TomMcGiverin - Nice try Tom. Extremely weak and pathetic. I don't need to give you any BS. You have already given it to your self in spades. You think The orange cretin isn't demented. He's insane at the very least and an evil POS. What does that make you? No need to try another weak come back with the likes of your previous drivel. You need to stop smoking whatever it is makes you so lucid.

@TomMcGiverin I have worked with many many dementia patients ( mostly men), Biden’s dementia is no more than I have at 80. Dementia and Alzheimer’s are not the same, if Biden does have dementia it is not Alzheimer. With proper self care (he still rides a real bike) and great health (that he has) he should do just fine! I am doing exceptionally well, and I have none of the great advantages that Biden has. We need Biden to bring in people with humane traits and organizational skills! We need our reputation restored abroad! The world thinks we are disintegrating! We all are tainted now...this isn’t fair!

@Freedompath I probably know as much about dementia as you do, if not more. My late wife had dementia for several years before her death. There are about 72 forms of dementia, including a few different forms of Alzheimer's. My wife's was a very rare form. I met at least a dozen or more patients with dementia from support groups I attended. I know dementia when I see it. We need a prez that has healthy cognitive ability AND integrity combined with policies that address the disease that brought us Trump. And believe me or not, Ruth, it is not Biden or Harris. Should Biden win, expect very little, because that's what you're going to get, even if Harris replaces him soon after the election. Maybe better management of the pandemic, but beyond that, I don't see it...

@TomMcGiverin I worked with cognitive patients for 15 years. I did private duty nursing, I lived with these patients. Now, I would never consider me to more knowledgeable than you, but I watched a lot of patients with different stages of dementia. So I have that to draw from as I took them very seriously. Plus I have spent much time in study of the brain, being that it has always been my primary interest!
And, as for me...I can tell you that I might get mixed up here and there but my cognitive ability is excellent, and a recent Dr visit seem to impress my doctor. We will all have some decline over 60 that is a given. But, Biden has been a politician, so he has that to draw from in his sleep! Biden will not be the kind of president that trump has become...no president in history has ever bucked the whole government process and de-railed it, the way trump has! And, I must remind us all again, we can write and visit the offices of our elected officials and make our voice heard. We can join groups that sign request for what we want to see. But, we are never going to get all we want! That never happens! But we can protest and get some action! I will be happy for humane treatment for every individual and fair justice to each. Then there will be the fortitude to tackle the more complex issues in government.

@TomMcGiverin I want to address your put down of my knowledge. This made me very angry, you have no idea. what I do and do not know! And yet, you felt entitled to report that you ‘probably’ know more than I do about cognitive conditions. I have yet to run into one person whose knowledge far out paced my knowledge of anything, where they exclaimed that their knowledge was superior to mine! They let their knowledge speak for itself! So I do not appreciate your insult and YOU may be smarter than me! But the evidence will be in what you say about the subject and not because you put someone else’s knowledge down.

@Freedompath Suit yourself, I stand by my statements without apology. Regardless which of us knows more about dementia, I damn well know enough to know when I see it and Biden has it, at least late early stage or early middle stage and I don't care how much other people choose to deny or minimize that. We may not get all we want, but we deserve better than a prez who already has dementia. We could have had better, like Bernie, for one example. But we won't get better until a majority of us DEMAND better. Good luck with your attitude of passively settling every time...

@believeinlove I can respect that, what I won't respect is the denial of Biden's dementia by his supporters. I'm also fed up with centrists and corporate Dems saying we don't deserve better than Biden or Trump.

@TomMcGiverin you just can’t help but put me down as you attempt to express your opinion! I guess you didn’t even notice that I never ask for an apology...because that I already knew would not be forthcoming! You may fool a lot of people, but I want be one of them! Sad...

@TomMcGiverin stop hanging out with the ‘centrists and cooperate Dems,’ that is the only way to preserve your own mind! Protect it...

@Freedompath Preparing to block you, but I might not. Your outrage is pathetically amusing..

@TomMcGiverin whatever...

Please vote and vote for Biden. Biden is no ‘crook’ and he will appoint competent people to agencies. And if 30% of them turn out to be rogues, that leaves 70% that can move us forward to help fix all the current broken parts! We have a say in all this, and we can demand justice and accountability, in written form and in person! Maybe I am out here in left field, but there is no way to write or show up in person with any member of this administration that will get humane results with what is taking place in this Country! Soon we will all be in ‘cages’...figuratively or literally! Examine this for yourself...my best!

I always vote, every election big or small

No fast or easy answers other than to consistently vote Democrat. We will not acquire a Parliamentary System in the near future, if ever. Even our Founders soon realized their system shook down to two major opposing sides. ...too bad they were so pissed at their mother country..

For those not having paid attention … describing how we got here would be near impossible ..likely requiring a dozen Ken Burns documentaries. And if they haven’t cared until now, would, or could they stay awake long enough to learn?

Yup, vote Democrat - forever. It’s your only hope ~

I could have written this myself. I feel exactly the same. The two-party system is completely broken. I sometimes wonder if the system could change if no one voted out of protest. I think we need additional (or none) parties and term limits at minimum.

No system is perfect, not even families! If there is to be more parties then we must press for it! If there is not enough interest it want happen! But, at this moment in time we are at a critical (almost do or die) position...the Republicans have a destructive agenda...they do not want to just correct what is not working for ‘the people’... they are hell bent on making this Country into their own image! Based on Religion (who knows which one)! It is not even ‘’just’ nor ‘humane!’ Apparently, they are rewriting their religion... Their actions don’t even line up with their Religions! This is not ISIS...but the Republicans are beginning to resemble them! When friends in far away places can see that trump and the Republicans are not behaving like humans...surely here at home people are not blind!

6

To possibly, unintentionally, aid Trump to obtain another term by not voting in protest would be like shooting yourself in the foot. Ralph Nader ran as an independent, against Gore and Bush, and took enough votes from Gore to give the election to Bush. We are still paying for the Bush presidency with our armed forces being killed, or wounded, and he helped encourage the religious stain to further infiltrate the government. We are paying dearly for that increased influence daily. If you want to wait for a perfect nominee for president, you will have to wait a bigly time!

Not looking for perfection, just a candidate who is not repulsive

5

I have only once voted for a candidate that I personally liked, and they were a Congressman from Long Beach. In every other case I am voting against incompetence. Of all the traits a politician can have competence rates highest on my list of virtues.
The Republicans have shown their economic incompetence ever since Nixon.
D.J. Trump has expanded Presidential incompetence to now cover social issues.
I have NEVER voted for a third party chaos candidate because I for one don't care to throw my vote away.
Although voting stupid like that is highly encouraged by Moscow.

Voting stupi is maintaining the current status quo of no good choice

@MattW Think of it like a sailboat. You have to adjust your sails and tack back and forth sometimes. You can’t fix it by trying to build a Diesel engine for your boat while on your voyage or you’ll never get to your destination. When it comes down to two, choose the one that isn’t orange. 🍊

@Willow_Wisp Never orange! Undeniably a pos

2

Only you know what is right!!!

It is your personal morality that is at stake here!!!

Too many are being blind to the fact we are being lead into a complete totalitarian police state by a few misinformed delusional trump death cult followers!!!

These Obstructionist Republican fascists are using any means possible to indenture and enslave us!!!

Go ahead let them win on November 3 2020!,,

Then you can not complain that you took part in letting it happen!!!

6

There is no alternative this time. In previous elections the stakes didn't include the dismantling of democracy, wholesale corruption across the board, and a sociopath with dreams of remaining in command indefinitely aided by an entire party that has gone all in on retaining power by any means necessary. These republican/evangelical lunatics have got to go.

This is corruption and madness without precedent in American history. You have to vote for Biden. Again, there is no alternative and there is no sitting this out.

Never sat out an election.

5

If you don't vote then I don't think you have a right to complain about the outcome.

Always vote every election big or small

7

If you don't vote for Trump's opponent, then Trump has a better chance to win.

3

I just vote for the lesser of the two evils.

Biden isn’t evil...surely you can be witness to that with the naked eye...there will never be a perfect person to run for anything including the Presidency! But, trump is diagnosable evil! There is no question on that. He will never work with you and he would sell out anyone of his supporters, who suddenly saw him as he is...evil! Vote for justice...otherwise we can kiss America as we once knew it, goodbye!

@Freedompath. Biden worries in other areas, but trump just scares the hell out of me.

@MrDragon ...as he should! Trump is and has always been a dangerous man! His history attest to it!

As a long time Independent, I've been reluctant to vote for either party and would absolutely prefer an end to the stranglehold that both parties have had on the system.
However, given the current choices at the top of each ticket, I have no choice but to vote for
Biden. This nation will not survive another four years of that orange shitstain and his coterie of enablers.

That said, I have every intention of voting for third party candidates down the line when it is
practical.
I will not vote for ANY republican probably for the rest of my life. Especially after the pathetic display they've made over the last twenty years. I don't feel like the democrats are that much better, but for now, there is no other reasonable choice. The republicans need to be unseated at every level. Conservatism must be crushed and religious influence must be stopped.

I live in a deeply red state, and I hate what the gop has been doing on multiple levels.
Between the blatant efforts at voter suppression, and the unmitigated influence of religion on
nearly every aspect of public policy, I have to fight to get them out. That means voting for democrats here.
Personally, my take is that the only real way to rid ourselves of the current two-party system is
to have more third party candidates running at the local levels and building from there.
It's a slog, but it is what my conscience demands.

Good luck reconciling what must be done right now with what your conscience wants.

6

We need a PR system, where multiple parties have a real chance, yet, in reality, both parties are vested with the current system. I unfortunately, have no option but to vote against Cheetoh.

6

What do you hope to achieve by abstention? What do you feel your previous abstentions achieved that makes you so keen to repeat them?

Never abstained, always vote in every election big and small. Never for the corrupt 2 party system.

@MattW I misunderstood what you meant. Sometimes though...it’s the least worst option we have to vote for, even when it pains us to do so.

4

Trump is regressive. Comparatively, Biden is progressive. Do you want the USA to move forward or backward? The choice really is that simple.

Never had a positive thought about Biden. We deserve and must demand better.

I'm with you @MattW at least this time around. DemocRat and Repuglican candidates have always been bad but never worse than this time around.

@MattW You're in denial. One of two men is going to be our next president. The choice is clear to any conscientious adult.

@Theresa_N Hillary may have been worse

6

So for 30 years your vote was meaningless...

Voting to maintain the corrupt 2 party system is meaningless.

@MattW the two party system existed since the beginning and now, all of a sudden, it's corrupt since trump was elected... Seems fishy to me...

@Cutiebeauty No it’s been corrupt all along, but the lack of cooperation between the parties which was really ramped up by Newt Gingrich has gotten quite bad,
