I just heard that there was recently an abandoned church fire in a nearby town. I love that... abandoned church.....fire....
As a historian I have a bit of congnative dissodence about the distruction of any place of worship. That being said I think they make great houses, small theaters and Pubs!
Was there insurance? That could have been a consideration or the owner just wanted the people out and knew no one would question a church fire. In my area the building owners burn down old buildings coz the homeless are staying in them, then claim the homeless must have burnt it down. It's an insurance racket.
It is kind of sad when you really think about it, environmental I mean, ALL of that relio-tard bullshit saturated woodwork burning and exuding who knows what into our precious atmosphere.
But don't worry Sky Daddy Gawd can do anything, he'll rebuild it in the mere blink of an eye....LOL.
@antireligious Nah, even bitches are useful at times....LOL.
How cruel! Untold numbers of gods, saints etc. could have been trapped in that blaze!
I pity humanity that they weren't
Itβs odd. They donβt pay taxes...
I wonder if the fire department just let it burn?
Karma, anyone?
Did they burn it down for the insurance money?
Needed charcoal briquettes.
Quick! Get the marshmallows!
LOVE the smell of burning hymnals in the morning!
To bad, abandoned churches are just abandoned buildings, it's when people go inside and start talking and acting insane that causes the trouble.
That old church could have housed a few homeless people, and should have.
Thry also have pretty good acoustics so concert or lecture halls come to mind.
Good point
There's a slightly used one for sale down the street from me in Eastlake. Got one of them fancy ass new electronic signs too they just put it in last year.
@oldFloyd ...and how much was it going for? Im curious
@TimeOutForMe I'm not certain I'll see if I can find out
Maybe Lucifer burned it down? Lol
Perhaps an act of the supernatural?
